That is probably the ultimate article for painting skintones, but I have only one like to give. I admit, I don't follow his color recommendations, but that's because I'm lazy and tend to use the Reaper Master Series skintones, or the P3 skin tones, or Vallejo, or Citadel, or whatever. Think I even have some old Cote d'Arms skin tones lurking around!
All still WIP As I mentioned I'm a bit lazy regarding bases for my gaming minis. Does anyone of you have an idea for suitable bases? I thought of the Tech Bases from Antenocitis Workshop but perhaps you think of some better ... Thanks in advance
I really like the terminus base from micro art, they look nicely sci fi and will work well with ALEPH https://shop.microartstudio.com/fr/socles/853-terminus-bases-round-25mm-5-5900232353613.html they have tiny details like cans and food boxes (at proper scale)
I'm mostly using the Hex bases from Antenociti, though I'm probably going to put my Imperial Service (if they ever redeem themselves from the Yuandun Division...) on the Trihex bases instead. (I should note that I think your painting of the Proxy Mk4 is beautiful, but I really do not like that model... )
I think I have soft spot for some odd looking minis like the Tanko or these Proxies with their big collars – I really like them
Hello again! a long time ago, this was my active thread, but now it seems that all my old pictures are gone ... Nonetheless, here are some new finished projects - first the Yan You Sorry for the bad quality of the pictures, I only have my cam in my smart phone ...
Fear not ! Your pics are not gone. If you log out of the forum, you'll see all of them. Forum is drunk again.
Thanks! HEAD means Human Edge Armed Defense, that's the name I gave my Nomads – HEADForce . CR is for Corregidor, and think of the numbers as designations for division and platoon.
Cool. That’s the kind of detail and thought I love to see on miniatures. I try to do similar types of iconography myself. Great work lefrank!
