If you don't like the online events, this thread is not for you. Tohaa were never a large factions in the online events, but we usually managed to hit well above our weight. With another event coming this fall will Tohaa even be an option? These are narrative events. Assuming this takes place after Daedalus' Fall, will Tohaa even be a faction for the event? If so, how will we manage to do anything with half our players now playing an NA2 army? As of right now I plan on playing for Tohaa even if I'm the only one.
I feel like Tohaa and Spiral might be combined into one faction for scoring purposes, at least that's what would make the most sense
My understanding is that there is a Tohaa fleet stranded in human space? Would arguably be the most interesting and relevant faction to play aside from CA. inb4 the conclusion of the campaign is that this fleet is destroyed
I don't know if I will play Tohaa in the campaign, cause with Tohaa I don't find playing partner. And we don't know the rules for this year, perhaps Spiral counts for Tohaa. I think NA2 will not be a own faction this time.
Tohaa has experienced a resurgence in my local meta. At least 4 new Tohaa players locally since the Spiral Corp release. Tales of Tohaa's demise are greatly exaggerated.
I'm preparing some exclusive gifts to raffle and to encourage the Tohaa to play in the campaign, I hope we enjoy at least as much as the previous years
Split currently but all say they will play both. They are are all Tohaa players as far as I'm concerned.
Would be nice for any NA2 player to be able to align with another faction, and score for that faction while still playing their merc sectorial of choice. It would allow Spiral to go Tohaa, StarCo to Nomads, Foreign to PanO. Dahshat, JSA, DBS could go a few different ways and have it make sense. It would be a lot of fun to have NA2 really be the mercenary faction.
Excuse me? That Foreign Company is a PanO N2 sectorial, or at least closely tied to PanO it's something that only PanO players have decided. Background states that Foreign Company is, oh surprise, a Nomad mercenary company. So Nomad players could try to acknowledge that Foreign Company performance should count towards Nomads instead.
Something tells me PanO wouldn't let a merc company use Bolts (the "backbone of the Neoterran Capitaline Army", per the fluff) without at least some kind of special sanction...
Spiral corps looks fun to try, but until we get some more models for them like Greif Operators, the Helot Militia, and the Monstruckers, I'm going to stick with Tohaa. I hate proxying and I hate playing against someone using a lot of proxies. It makes the game harder to understand and takes longer.
