A lot of people use places like Trivago to find hotel deals, or else use the 'rent a room in a place owned by a person' thingy (sorry, total brain freeze right now). Me personally, I tend to stay in student accommodation, as it's the Hols..
any news about waiting list? 1st payment step should be over and new list should come out according to the time table on interplanetario web site.
...apparently we passed two timelines for new lists being published... ...but no one was made available... ...rumors say partecipants are "already set in stone", no further list is being published... ...but I know one partecipant included in the first list who is NOT going to partecipate to IP19 due to logistic issues...and he is still included in the partecipants... ...WHO KNOWS WHAT'S GOING ON?... is there any new list of partecipants being published sooner or later? Can someone tell me where to look for when the first round is supposed to start on friday and when the tournament is supposed to finish on sunday ? Also, there are some night train (trenhotel) that goes from Barcelona to Vigo, did someone try them and can give me some feedback ? I'm thinking of taking them to go from France to Vigo without taking a plane or a car (eco friendly interplanetario)

I took that train once, years ago. 15 hours to reach Barcelona (Sants station). The seats, if you reserve the "wider" ones, are comfortable, enough to take a little sleep (or a long one if you have the ability to sleep no matter where you are). I saw one of the "private" rooms and they're awesome. That was 10 years ago, but I suppose they're the same trains. Just my two cents.
