The safest way for a Hulang to bring a Squalos down is to either shoot it or to shoot it while moving into melee (10% risk per order spent shooting). Speculative fire has a 20% chance of disabling and 29% risk of Squalos improving it's position. I'd opt for Tanko Blitzen if I were choosing specifically to counter a known Squalos fanatic.
Exactly. 4 Blitzens plus EM grenades plus a missile launcher. And a Spitfire, though that costs you half your EM grenades.
Yeah, but the real power is in that a Domaru has better PH for Speculative to essentially flip the odds to 29% vs 20% and that a Tanko in a fireteam has significantly better chances of avoiding that AP Heavy Pistol on the way into close combat. They do this at a higher cost, but they also have much larger reach and the ability to fight back in a way that a Hulang and Shang-Ji duo can't.
