The EXP+Mono combo stands out and raises eyebrows, but that's not a very scary trooper. The CC ability isn't high enough to actually be scary to CC specialists and Bioimmunity isn't very good on non-NWI models - just shoot it with non-Shock, or just shoot it with Shock because ARM 3 isn't that high. And seriously, just don't get close to it. Try Holo1 and Minelayer for IA or Holo1 and Light Rocket Launcher for ISS. Or simply make a slightly weaker melee monster and hide it as something less scary in ISS, then use smoke and Gang-Up to roll a serious amount of dice. Still, the Crane is probably going to be scarier once you crunch those math, but you know...
I'm getting 10 points to get +1 wound on a Deva, but don't have my book handy to verify that's right. Bioimmunity for 2 points though is a smoking deal for the Deva.
Yeah, Bioimmunity Mimetism Red Fury (or Feuerbach) That's a damn solid option for a faction already rich with excellent specialists.
Don't have my book to check it there, but that's what army is giving. Each level in the chart is a cumulative cost though, so if an upgrade is only available through the top tier it would be 2+3+5 so that checks out.
Does this mean that this guy can just dumpster the ac2 in looting and sabotaging in maybe one attack? Or can you only use the explosive ccw and not combine with dual wield.
The AC2 (scenery in general) do not go to the Dead State, but the Destroyed State, so the Mono ammo won't have any effect other than setting your DAM value at 12 and taking away the AC2's ARM.
I guess on a phys 11 dude that's still pretty good. Using ma4 for burst 2 for a likely unmodified 6 saves against dam 12.
Even at a costly 10pts the extra Wound will be an interesting option for the Deva (2W + NWI is damn good).
Look at the end of the day SpecOps are an excuse for us all to build some Chronicles of Ridiculous shite that makes our opponents regret ever entering into this friendship as we reveal a Holoprojector Ghulam Jammer in a five man link who turns Achilles into an expensive potato. Max wounds and NWI is fair game absolutely.
