This is the situation. The first part of my order I move a guy with a heavy flamethrower 4 inches into lof of a TO marker. He for his ARO declared to shoot. I then declared to shoot back. I'm thinking I can just shoot with my second part of the order as he used a bs attack and lost his cammo state? Is that how it works? Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
Yep, as soon as they declare ARO, they immediately have to replace the camo marker with a model, tell you all its public info, etc. You can then declare your second skill based on this updated game state.
Thanks, yeah I thought it worked like that, my opponent didn't think it worked like that and it was either I would have to do an intuitive attack for my second part or I would have to take the hit from the shot and if I survived then I would get my shot. His argument was because of the happens all at the same time bit of text and I'm shooting him when hes as a maker. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
You can't do Intuitive attack as the second part anyway as it's an Entire Order Skill. And yes it is the happens all at the same time bit that does it, when you shoot with a marker is counts as you being reveled during the whole order. So not only can you shoot him but you can shoot him during any part of your movement, so if you started in Flame range and moved away you still flame him from your starting position if you want.
Everything may be described as happening at once, but the cancellation of Camouflage is -retroactive- to the whole order. The last bullet point of Camoflage: The cancellation of Camouflaged state is applied to the whole declared Order. So, if a Camouflaged trooper declares a Move + BS Attack Order, he will be considered discovered all along his Movement, even if the BS Attack would be performed at the end of that Movement. That “is applied to the whole declared Order” works both ways. If the active player declares Move, and the camo marker declares ARO BS Attack (cancelling camo), then it’s treated as being revealed for the order. The active player can shoot from anywhere along the movement path that has line of sight.
