Very nice can’t wait to see more. Are u planning on doing a unified color scheme on the whole army or are you gonna mix it up a lot due to it being a Merc company.
She's fantastic! I love the colors. The thing i thought about right away though was that she looked like a Rebel from Star Wars! Which to me is NOT a bad thing.
Great job archangeleong. I think I enjoyed this color scheme moreso than my own. If you decide to paint your other druze in a similar color scheme, please post another picture. I'd be very interested to see how they turn out. Keep up the good work!
Ikari Company - Yuan Yaun This guy is very cool but very hard to come by. Pity it's so hard to get the coolest infinity minis these days, but I managed to find a Red Veil box set that still had it. The Uprising artwok with this guy in it inspired me to start Ikari Co and my colour scheme is based on that.
He looks fantastic! The only thing I think that could be added is a small part that has white to tie-in to the YY.
The light grey does tie in slightly, but you are right. Might add some white highlight to tie it in better. Actually I wanted to paint the skull symbol on his shoulder white but his hair is in the way! Other shoulder is too small and in too tricky spot to do freehand unfortunately. Thing is that I got this guy specifically to paint that skull but was, stymied by the hair! lol I'll impliment the white on the fat Yuan Yaun :-)
If you don't he'll still look great! His left shoulder is obscured but his right looks like you put some sort of icon there.
CSU Joins Ikari, This cute little lady got a lot of character :-) I gave her a combi because I'm using the shotty on another Project.
How are you so good at this? (I'm sure the answer is time and practice, but it's still breathtaking) Your work is amazing. Did you free hand the logos on the take out box for the fat yuan yuan?
Thanks for kind words! Yep it just takes time and practice (around 30 years since i first painted a plastic space marine with glossy Tamiya paint lol!) The logo is free hand, but there is actually the tiny picture etched on the box (almost impossible to see though, so I used the box art as a guide to copy the logo).
Ikari Co: Brawler Getting my army theme colours down with this one. I enjojed playing with the camo (been a long time since I painted any). It may be awhile before I get much more painting done as my wife is coming home from a long holiday, so happy and sad in equal measure lol!
