Active trooper A makes a BS attack that targets reactive trooper B. Trooper A uses a weapon that has circular template trait. Reactive trooper C is in b2b with trooper B. Trooper C doesn’t have LoF to trooper A, but does have 6th sense level 2 skill. Q1: Reactive model C declares dodge ARO. Is dodge roll made with -3 modifier?
There will be no -3. See the last bullet point of Sixth Sense: When attacked with a template weapon from outside his LoF the user may ignore the -3 MOD to Dodge a template from outside his LoF.
That’s what I thought earlier, but then I read this: REQUIREMENTS In order to use Sixth Sense L2, the user must be the target of an Attack. Is model C the target of an Attack?
The template rules don’t explicitly say that everyone affected counts as being targeted, but the examples talk about situations where ‘all targets react by shooting’ after shooting only one trooper.
Yes. First effect of any and all templates: Any trooper in base contact with a Template, or whose base or Silhouette Template is covered at least partially by a Template, is equally affected by the Template Weapon or Equipment. And after that bullet point the rules interchange the concepts of being attacked and the concept of being affected when it comes to attacks.
