Sorniak's post make a lot of good points, but misses out one key thing: Kiel-San can do all of those things at once. For the sake of redundancy and 'oh god that went wrong' moments, Kiel-San fills a lot of gaps when your primary has failed. And that's the reason i'd take one: So I know I can 'do the thing' even when my first plan has gone to sh*t.

Regeneration can be used when conscious, so if the Kiel-Saan takes a wound but is still in their active Symbiont state they can attempt to use Regen to increase themselves back to 2 Wounds. However, this comes with a risk as if you fail the Regeneration roll the Kiel-Saan will lose another wound dropping them to their inactive Symbiont state.
Why not? There's no restriction in Symbiont Armour saying it can't be healed back up to 2W. It's really no different from an Asawira using Regen to get back up to 2W. The only thing you can't do is go from the Inactive state back to the Active state.
If you want to Skip Symbiomates on the Kaeltar w/CoC and use Symbiobombs you can use Revitalis with no risk. If you get in a pinch it could give other supportware http://infinitythewiki.com/en/Revitalis
Okey then noob question, can a medic heal that wound? Or maybe there are some rule i dont know about that says u cant heal a symbiont armor or something like that? Mmm now that i think about it, u need to be unconscious to be healed by a medic no?
Correct, Doctor/medikit/Automedikit/First Aid can only be used on unconscious troopers, Regeneration does not have this restriction.

Yeah, I was thinking about the pilot as well, but all S5 so far look male to me, which the pilot as well as the spec-ops for sure do not!
The spec ops is my go to proxy for everything s2 in spiral now. It's just a really awesome looking model.
