So I can make a duo of Miranda Ashcroft + 77pts Maghariba? I doubt that, frankly...

Patsy is a Wildcard, yes, but she is also an Orc, which is the reason she can provide the skill to other orcs...

The Fireteam: Duo part there should be removed in the Ikari, then, since it will be people making the duos, since the wiki is not in the regular chain of priorities, nor are the troops PDF per se after a few weeks (being FAQ > Army > Rules...). Or the PDF & Wiki should be in line with the Army...

Please do note that I just printed an Ikari army with the Haris and duos of the Wu Ming, with the fireteam list enabled, and it says Wu Ming have Duo, Haris & Special... See the attached PDF, but you can check it easily enough.

Ruleswise, she's a Wildcard. Not an Orc Trooper.

Why is the wiki not in the regular chain of priorities? It's listed as a rules source in the ITS document.

As has been pointed out multiple times, the Fireteams summary that Army prints out is not correct for standard Fireteams because it simply checks for the presence of Skills instead of going by the Sectorial charts.

The wiki is currently the only up to date definitive source for Fireteams.

It certainly doesn't help that one thing (Army) says Wu Ming have Duo skill, and another (wiki) does not, doesn't help at all! As someone else said, telling someone to go look it up in the wiki is NOT going to fly! It also puts on undo pressure on someone that doesn't have say a phone or tablet with easy internet access. Me for example. My phone sucks and I can't go to the wiki. I also don't have a tablet I can bring. So I'm being penalized like a GW game? "He who has the most money wins"?

What is confusing to me is the Wildcards which Ikari and ISS don't have.

The wiki does not list Skills, it lists whether a unit has permission to form a type of Fireteam.

Having the Skill is not sufficient.

That may be true but that doesn't make it less confusing. Especially to those that are new to the game who may not even know the wiki exists and know which thing to trust. The wiki, the Army Creator, or the PDF? Where does it say that one takes precedence over the other?

And I'm supposed to tell people to find this thread? Assuming they have internet. And who here do they listen too? (I know it's you) however there's nothing showing that you are that person that says that. You have Warcor like many others. BTW it took me months to find out you were that person.

Also, I just looked at the PDF downloads for profiles and there's nothing currently for Ikari, or Druze that shows the link teams or anything else. There's Profiles 4.2 that goes up to JSA, and now Dedalus Fall that doesn't have them. Only the ones recently updated.

Sorry, I guess this is going off topic.

So yes or no? Can Miranda Ashcroft join a Rafiq FTO?

The latest PDF in the resources section has the Ikari in the last pages, after JSA.

Yes, you can Duo Miranda + Rafiq FTO

My apologies. I'm wrong. However, i think this points out how even someone that's been playing for 10+ years that things can be confusing.

Thank you. But again, who do I trust on this? You? IJW?

Assume IJW's assent with the Miranda + Rafiq duo being legal unless he says otherwise, frankly.

A Rafiq FTO + Miranda includes someone with the Duo Skill (both of them), and Miranda can replace anyone listed for the Fireteam. So yes, it's valid.
A Maghariba + Miranda includes someone with the Duo Skill (Miranda), and Miranda can replace anyone listed for the Fireteam, so it's also valid.

I see that Tohaa is completly missing from that list.
Does that mean that the Kriigel + Reex Special Triad Fireteam is not available for Tohaa? Is it an Army bug?

All Fireteams for Spiral Corp are listed at http://infinitythewiki.com/en/List_of_Fireteams#Spiral_Corp

Tohaa have no Sectorial Chart, and as far as I'm aware have no Special Fireteam options at all.

Yes, you said. Which means that it's very likely to be a bug in Army.

Am i correct in the assessment that to form in JSA a Special Fireteam: Haris. 1 Domaru Haris + 2 Karakuris i need the specific Domaru Haris profile even though Karakuri also have the skill because the special fireteam especially calls out the "1 Domaru Haris" instead of 1 Domaru?
