I think the change to Total Immunity was a mistake

    Well sort of. Before that, using some specific things like mono weapons was a somewhat viable alternative (i know of some doggys who were terrified of my Penthesilea - i'm not sure the fear was totally justified, but at least there was a reason). Some other unusual weapons could be a thing too. Hey, even K1 combi were a thing, since it was exotic and they often had a bit of armor.
    Now, except ADHL, the best solution is the one everyone would already use for everything else: big burst weapons. And i'm not exactly fond of games where you can use a single solution for every problem, i prefer soft counters.

    Krakot is an extremely popular choice for vanilla armies and he has 20% chance to roll dogged+total immunity of metachem L2 which makes him even more of a living missile against the enemy, letting him ignore flashpulses on top of crapping on jammers due to the Morat rule;
    Dashat has McMurrough, which is one of the reasons that army is busted

    McMurrough is the biggest problem - he already was effectively an autochoice if your tournament enabled Soldiers of Fortune due to being one the most costeffective units, now it is going to be even more of a dog fight every round if thats the case, since CB gifted him Berserk and simple Impetuous status.

    @fatherboxx Totally agree. McBroken getting Berserk and the ability to control himself is beyond insane, considering the buff he just got.

    Side note:
    As far as I can tell, if you field him because of Soldiers of Fortune, he is still extremely impetuous.
    Just for Corregidor and Caledonia he is 'only' impetuous.

    Hey, he went up in price by 1 points!!!! And only thing he got is hugely improved Total Immunity, Berserk, and he even lost Extreme part of Extreme Impetuous! That's a huge nerf right there!

    I guess whichever CB employee had McMurrough as their rpg character got upset he wasn't overpowered?

    Or, as a friend pointed out to me, we can expect a new McMurrough miniature soon?

    Well, the current one is perfectly fine despite being about seven years old, and with so many other older or lesser quality minis still out there... yeah, yeah he is getting a new mini isn't he?

    If a mini is getting new rules as part of its release (or re-release) they usually time those rules updates to match when the new model is available for purchase.

    CB tested him and deemed him too weak.

    Played against new McMurrogh a couple of times now, he is a nightmare. Warcors, flashpulse bots, all these things used to actually be a threat to him, now he just walks right through. I am not a fan of the flashpulse nerf...

    Meanwhile I've played against him once so far, and my Gongcheng kill 'im without even critting.

    He does force you to have a much more active ARO presence, because you must have volume of fire. Or glue.
