Official Defiance announced it's the Jade Guy. Heavy Weapons Platform at one glance! Gun looks like ALEPH HMG with Optics.. Hey, we might get a Yan Huo Character.
Considering he's supposed to be the Heavy Weapons guy of a team, would he get Full Auto 2? XD The belt-fed HMG implies he'll be shooting a lot of bullets!
Still think it's a Yu Jing or Nomad HMG with the upper receiver cut off. An Aleph JMG would have the trigger and bullet feed mechanism where we can see the chest armour.
Could be a Mowang, but Red Fury and Spitfire are magazine fed. I still think it's going to be a Yan Huo MultiHMG.
From the art though it doesn't even look like whatever that hose or belt is feeding into the gun though. In fact it looks like it curls around behind the model.
I'm pretty excited by the whole thing. i'm really glad they are making the troops available to both games too.
I still think these characters might be characters with no perfect non-character unit comparison, so he might not be a Yan Huo/Mowang.
Missing the front shoulder grip-bars and also has way too big shoulder plates, plus it's got the ammo-feed box on the shoulders that looks a lot like the Yan Huo. Chest is weurd, though, and doesn't match anything afaict. Red Fury has a lot of extra grip surface and underslung mounts, this gun doesn't, plus it's also missing the hand-guard by the trigger. It's absolutely Yu Jing design, though, since only Yu Jing and Nomads design the weapon rear like that.
Look, it could just be something custom-built for this very special mission being tackled by these very special heroes. Them being compatible with Infinity proper, if we actually were promised that, may or may not just stem from meeting current proxy requirements (correct base sizes / silhouettes, being mostly made by Corvus Belli).
