    a) Killer hackers always ignore firewall mods
    b) All attack threw an enemy repeater apply firewall mods
    c) Support ware Fairy dust add Firewall mods on all friendly HIs.

So if you can reach the target directly without using an enemy repeater, the firewall mods don't apply. This is assuming they don't have Fairy dust up.

In the rules under Sniffer it states this:

    • Once the Sniffer Marker is on the table, the Sniffer is active and, in following Orders, friendly Sensor units can declare their Special Skill in its Zone of Control.

Where is says "Their Special Skill" this includes all of their "Special Skills"?

Or just the two special skills related to Sensor. One being "Sensor" and the other being a nested skill "Triangulated Fire"

Nah, it's Sensor and Sat Lock that can be performed in a Sensor Area:
    "REQUIREMENTS

In addition to Sat-Lock, the user must also have both the Forward Observer and Sensor Special Skills.

The target must be inside the user's Sensor Area."

Triangulated Fire is a BS Attack and needs LOF.

Glad to know you have someone on-staff or in the playtest community whose job is to break the game! (No, seriously. That is such an important task that I cannot over-emphasize just how important it is!)

I have had some more time to look at this setup. What is the benefit of the evo? Can a normal hacking device work too?

EVO allows you to Sat Lock on flat WIP. Without an EVO Sat Lock is WIP-6.

Sat Lock isn't exactly ineffective without an EVO, but it is relatively inefficient.

It's chancy with an EVO and quite difficult without one, since your opponent can Reset at full WIP. Vs. a WIP 13 target it's like 42% success with the EVO and 19% without it.

I found that rule. Im obviously still new at this. Its the special rule for the device. I kept looking over the hacking programs to see what the deal was.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. :)

Yeah, this is why Sat Lock is best used vs Camo. It's kinda a fancy out of LOF Discover that sometimes also places them into a Targetted state.

Without an EVO it's 35% odds to Discover and Target a Camo marker that does nothing or 100% odds to Discover and 19% odds to Target a Camo marker that Resets. With an EVO basically everyone Resets: 65% odds of Targetted isn't worth the inevitable Guided/Spec Fire.
