Joking aside, and while indeed the battle report can be, and are filmed quite earlier than the final release of the rules, I have to point out that game designers and developers are not the best person to remember the most current game rules during a gameplay illustration, simply by the virtue of having a significant amount of different rules versions in their head.
Well, according to Bostria, HellLois is one of the people in the company with a good knowledge of the rules. He's also the ITS coordinator. Bostria is a hype man, we know this, he doesn't need an encyclopedic knowledge of the rules.
I reckon we could maybe play the new things for a little while yet (more than a few days) before insisting we know better than the designers and demanding they answer to us about whatever we think we know better than them about.
Not to demean your stance, but the Xenotech + MSV2 + Smoke combo was discovered barely a couple of weeks after the release of the ITS10 doc, and it took nearly 6 months for official word to get out as "xenotech does not generate ARO" (resumed). Please remember why companies do Open Beta events: no matter how smart, knowledgeable or whatever adjective you want to use here, enough regular people looking at the same thing will achieve insights you did not in the same span of time. One of the tenets of QA is that "there is no bugs" is a lie, "We found no bugs" means there can be bugs hidden.
Sure, but we've already played with Tarik a while now and it hasn't been a fun experience and now they crank it up to 11. This isn't an issue that's new, it's all known variables.
Yeah I knew the Xenotech thing the second I read the rule. That was fairly simple. This is quite different, and not nearly as simple, for many reasons that have been outlined already. You can intuitively not like it, but that's not quite the same as it being broken in any real sense. To know that you have to play it a bit. And CB are the only ones who have done that so far. The peat always thinks it knows better, but it only sometimes does.
Also, Infinity is quite a complex game in the first place. Even someone who does almost nothing BUT game / play ITSs at a high level will make rules mistakes and confusions some times. Someone that has to have access to rules in development / testing and still keep those away from the current release while still doing nearly all of the "Front End" for the game (and answering questions about pretty much anything in the pipeline) is bound to make mistakes. Tatical proeficiency non-withstanding.

I'm not even saying this to be inflammatory. Let's go through this 1 by 1: I'm sorry but this is a laughable conclusion. EVERY SINGLE Haqqislam Vanilla list that plays competetively, and on top tables, are either taking Tarik or 1 - 2 Khawarij's, along with 3-4 Mutts. There's no exception to this. I honestly cannot believe anyone would claim otherwise. So his statement saying "Are Haqqislam rosters dominated by Fatality gangs? No." is diametrically opposed to reality. As for his list:

Everything @Zewrath wrote and these two additional points: 1. It's not fun being on the receiving end of too many crits 2. The relative performance of FAT2 models is not reflected in cost But mainly number 1. It's so unfun when crit becomes norm rather than occasional occurrence.
