I agree with the Daoying (any version) as being superior options to taking Sun as the LT. A camo LT2 is just that good. Though Sun1 as a Datatracker is pretty rude.
A Camo LT2 that can use those two orders productively is just that good.* Seriously though. That's like a free action every turn-
Or just your regular old Vanilla NCOs. Which is great, because all the NCOs in Vanilla are great. Seriously though. Daoying is the biggest thing that happened to Yu Jing from that entire release. I've put in an order for the Hacker blister at the local games store. It takes actual effort NOT to put that sweetest thing into your lists.
I want some art of sun stopping a speculos mono sword with two fingers while nanopulsing her back while quoting his book.
''The opportunity to secure ourselves against defeat lies in our own hands, but the opportunity of defeating the enemy is provided by the enemy himself.'' - Sun Tze, circa Whatever-Year-Infinity-Takes-Place, moments before executing a Shasvastii assassin with a shotgun.
They do vastly different jobs. Sun Tze allows you to build lists that are very good at going second, Dao Ying can't do that.
I'll tell you though now with the change to TI, I'm much more likely to at least try him out. I wouldn't even do that before.
