they meant "Special Fireteam:Triad. ... + 2 Auxiliars (Fireteam: Special Triad)" not "+ 2 Auxiliars (this is a Fireteam: Special Triad)" There is only one loadout with haris (i mean with triad in this case) : the 10 pts HFT baggage bot.
So the Überfallkommando is mentioned in the Daedalusfall PDF but I cant see any big change with the profile. With that said its 2 years I last used them so maybe someone more experienced with them could elaborate :)?
Yep +1 Pts. Also minor upgrade in the Total Immunity skill it now completely ignores Non-Lethal that make ARM/BTS saves (so, not ignoring ADHL, but ignore warcor flash attempt when closing in on juicy targets). And bypass all ARM/BTS special ammo, no more list of exception of what it works and not work against. (so a minor buff to bakunin) edit: more specifically, it now works against E/M+E/M2 (optional), Monofilament, Pheromonic, Flash/Stun, T2, Viral.
In other words, in all the excitement, what Bakunin get is a slight nerf. Uberfallcommando don't get much use from Total Immunity in my experience, and the change didn't make them 1 point better. Kind of annoyed because it invalidates my lists I just spent ages painting. Meh.
Whats a bit odd is: -Sun Tze doesn't seem to have had a New TI Tax. -Dogfaces seem to have a 2pt increase -Karakuri have a 3pt increase I mean, isn't nice being us, must be great to be Sun Tze, sucks to be Dogfaces, and really sucks to be robots. If you ran a Domaru+Karakuri Haris in JSA, hope you can drop six points somewhere. OTOH, it's actually kind of easier to lose a large number of points than just one, sometimes. We suffer harder list building in a way.
Karakuri didn't pick up any vulnerabilities and they can roll against their BTS 6 now for everything. Absolutely worth finding those points. Shame the Uberfall didn't get such a drastic increase out of the change.
Moderator Lt was 0 swc in Bakunin since at least 2017 (prob HSN3 or even N3). Because l have played this list often since (well before) then (and just finished painting it all nicely the day of the update...) Looks like the only options would be downgrade the assault pistol morlock, downgrade bran, or drop a zondbot. Could do the latter and upgrade a morlock actually, it's what I'd do.
Yeah there's lots of options to make the list work, it was just slightly annoying that it both had sentimental value (I'm kinda well known for that list in my meta) and that I just finished painting it up the day of the update after a two month lay off the game. To be honest it's maybe a good thing to look at it with fresh eyes. For example when I wrote that list KHDs didn't even exist, so there's probably a whole bunch of ways to rejig it now. Especially if BJC ever get a CJC like update. I change my mind frequently about whether Total Immunity for Uberfalls at 1pt is a gain or a loss in total (heh). Being 1 wound / str and bugger all ARM / BTS they don't get the value some other units do. On the other hand not having to smoke past flashpluses can be helpful at times, and they get it for 4 models not 1. Kinda salty Bakunin got left out in the cold on faction updates though. IMHO they needed it more than CJC, since there are fewer competitive builds in BJC IMHO. Hopefully it's on the radar.
Well, IIRC the only armies stuck at HSN3 style standards are: -CHA -USARF -Bakunin -Onyx(ish)? -Imperial Service (kinda)? Steel Phalanx already have their four-man fireteam schtick so I don't think they'll see changes. I think Onyx benefit from some updates to their fellow CA by their nature, and the Imperial Service have had little tweaks and buffs, but overall aren't quite as upgraded as other sectorials. The earliest we might see changes is Gencon, I think, where the last other Blue N happens. CB said five proper sectorials getting launched or fully revamped again, IA seem to have counted, Shas and Ramah are the next two I think, leaving another possible book at GC if its not just a 2player starter or something.
A mixed link would be nice. Mostly I want them to review the existing units and make sure they still make sense in this brave new world of rules. Moderators paying shock immunity tax? Reverend healers mimetism? Cc tax? Moiras maybe 1 more E/M option? Meta chemistry 2 on a morlock? (I'd love an optional profile for this) Prowler role? He's a good unit but not really a MI or a SK. tweak his weapons. Submachine gun would speak volumes about what he's there to do. Generally we have good fluffy and crunchy units. I wouldn't mind more but I'm already enjoying them. They definitely feel like an army that's never heard of the new rules though.
