4pts cheaper engineer ;) Najjarun costs 17pts and have better WIP, Courage et cetera, but TBH Monstruckers is interesting with its climbing plus, Chain Rifle, Drop Bears. Not bad, not bad at all. Still the name suggested we will see something bigger and riding, not a quite normal guy ;) PozdRawiam / Greetings
I know Dashat just rolled out and put IA to shame, but it's still the Yu-jing subforum here mate! As for the Monstrucker in vanilla Yu-jing, while it's a nice addition I kinda like using my doc/engie as glorified cheerleaders when i don't need them to heal stuff, so irregular is kind of a deal breaker for me.
Climbing+ specialist, though... It's a thought, but I usually have my Engineer hiding with pride in the backfield, and often Coordinate Suppression with the Doc, so it'd be a significant change to my playstyle.
He should be able to take a Yao Zao as well. Don't all Engineers come with D-Charges? Why would one be specifically on a profile?
That guy's real crucial if you ask me. Now Su Jian don't have to get EM'd while climbing smooth, stuck there until the game ends.. Monstruckers will fix him good! Good gracious!
I did a quick filter search on army. All the engineers have d charges as part of their load out as s separate item. I don’t think the skill comes bundled with it. The description doesn’t say it does either. All it says is that anyone with the engineering skill can remotely detonate a dcharge planted by someone in their army. Unless it’s an error in army, it looks like only one monstrucker profile comes with them.
Engineer does not beget D-Charges. D-Charges were added to nearly all Engineers for HSN3 I think, but it's not a universal truth just like how Doctor does not necessarily mean you get a Medikit.
Remember, howerver, that detonating a placed D-Charge (against a piece of scenery for whatever reason, like secondary objective) is possible for any model who is a engineer, OR carries D-charges (or both).
A little weird you can explode the D-charge but not have them. But okay. D-Charges or not it's helpful to Vanilla considering even with this, they only have 3 AVA1 Engineers and Krit Koram makes it 4.
I see not much use for him in Vanilla YJ. He is the only source for ADHL and Drop Bears (but we have three profiles with Akrylat Cannon), a cheaper choice for E/M Grenades. So he is our third Engineer choice for now (A tear for Yurika ;-) and can throw or lay a couple of mines, but he will not provide an order, so I would go with our Gongcheng.
