Total Immunity? TOTAL IMMUNITY (AUTOMATIC SKILL) Optional. EFFECTS » When suffering a successful Attack—or being affected by any weapon or rule—that forces any ARM or BTS Rolls, the owner is immune to the special effects of the Special Ammunitions, treating them as Normal Ammunition. » In addition, players can choose between making an ARM Roll or BTS Roll, choosing the most advantageous for them. » If affected by a weapon or Ammunition with the Non-Lethal Trait (see Infnity N3) that forces an ARM or BTS Roll, owners of Total Immunity won’t suffer its effects, so they won’t make the ARM or BTS Roll, nor any corresponding Guts Roll. » This Special Skill is not applied if the owner suffers a Hacking or Comms Attack.
Symbiont is Fire-Sensitive now, with the immunity / vulnerability reshuffle I can safely assume that symbionts will be Vulnerable: Fire under Symbiomate's Total Immunity. If they aren't and the immunity is actually TOTAL, cue "Tohaa OP!" wallowing, but my Gorgos will be VERY happy :D
E/M doesn't have the Non-Lethal trait, therefore counts as normal Ammunition vs Total Immunity and causes loss of W/STR now. Someone please tell me I missed something. Oh btw I like new Guard apart from the fact that it's just better MA now.
Uh, if I Morpho Scan a Kum Biker, am I MOV 8-6 now? MORPHO-SCAN (SHORT SKILL) Comms Attack, Optional, Zone of Control. REQUIREMENTS » The target must be an enemy model possessing the Wounds Attribute and inside the owner’s Zone of Control. » Morpho-scan has no effect on enemy Markers nor on enemy troopers possessing the STR Attribute. EFFECTS » This Skill doesn’t require a Roll. » Morpho-scan replaces the MOV, CC, BS and PH Attributes of its user with the ones of its target. » Morpho-scan imposes a MOD of -9 to its target if they declare a Reset ARO to prevent it. » Once this Special Skill is used successfully, having replaced the owner’s Attributes with its target’s ones, it cannot be used again during the game.
As per Total Immunity, it will be a hit with Normal Ammo. The Fire-Sensitive part of Symbiont Armor will not trigger. Yes, as per the example. Yes, this part is unchanged.
OK, confirm this for me in big letters please - a symbiont with a Mate is Total Immune with no exceptions? My Gorgos is happy now :3
NO EXCEPTIONS except hacking It'd be very weird to have the mates have vulnerability fire considering in the RPG that is their sole purpose, little portable fire extinguishers.
@ijw @psychoticstorm One more question: Are we allowed to have a Fireteam: Core and Triads / Tri-Core active at the same time?
Oh, I didn't read the RPG, sorry. Had no idea, but it's an awesome and funny visual. Total also doesn't grant immunity from special ammo that doesn't force ARM/BTS tests, like the Adhesive's PH-6 test. So you can always glue a Symbiote with a Mate.
