I don't ask to much, just to have at least 1 serious piece to link with moderator. Moira? Riot? I'll be happy also whit a Rem or something like this, because our line troops link now is useless for me
I think Moiras being able to link with Moderators - and cleaning up various Reverend linking abilities - would help with their internal balance against Grrls.
New sculpts would be cool. Maybe a tag sized tank to go with the Tank Police vibe the moderators give out. Rules wise they are fine.
I used to hate on moderator links but this is my new go-to: Jurisdictional Command of Bakunin ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 5 MODERATOR MULTI Sniper Rifle / Pistol, Electric Pulse. (1.5 | 17) MODERATOR Combi Rifle / Pistol, Electric Pulse. (0 | 9) MODERATOR Combi Rifle / Pistol, Electric Pulse. (0 | 9) MODERATOR Combi Rifle / Pistol, Electric Pulse. (0 | 9) MODERATOR Lieutenant Combi Rifle / Pistol, Electric Pulse. (0 | 9) 1.5 SWC | 53 Points Open in Infinity Army If I could link anything else (other than a daktari) I'd do it. Moderator links rule
A Biometric Visor moderator would be nice, come to think of it, even just a combi-rifle or shotgun. We Nomads really should buy some more given people think Shasvastii dollar-store Skrulls are infiltrating our ra- BIOMETRIC VISORS ARE USELESS DO NOT BUY MORE THIS IS NOT A SHASVASTII
Not sure how well it works with the lore of the unit but duplicating some of the moira profiles and then giving them FD1 and upgrading the the ODD to TO (similar to the spec sgt and order sgt entry) could be interesting and were they to be BJC only give people a reason to play it over vanilla that isn't just the ability to that 3rd zero and access to fire-teams.
Is Avicenna linkable with anyone? She's a BJC only merc but I'm not sure I've seen her on the table outside of Starco. Then again, no one in my meta plays Bakunin.
We do seem to be lacking in "Sectorial Only" stuff compared to Vanilla, which is probably why Vanilla is still really damn good to us. It's basically just a handful of sectorial-only characters, many of whom are mercs anyway. Not in BJC, in StarCo she's... in with Riot Grrls, which puts people wanting "viable alternatives to Riot Grrl Spam" back to square one Maybe in BJC, she could be counted as a Reverend Healer for Fireteams? Assuming no other big changes other than wording it means she can be popped in with Moiras to have a cheaper in points higher WIP doc plus, at the cost of some ARM, CC, BS, PH, and loss of a nanopulser/EXP CCW. IMO, one great trade-off situation encouraging some preplanning your playstyle/tailoring for what you expect to face a little bit more. You want a doc keeping the Morias in the fight, or a Doc that can join in the fight and be a little better in CC and Shooting than the Moiras?
Id rather not have the rev healer invalidated. i'd prefer to see Avi thrown in the Mod + TM team or be able to Duo with TM.
Rev Healer wouldn't be, though - She has a few advantages over Avi, and personally I reckon a personal doctor for a TM is a bit much, same as adding it to Moderators. For about 90pts, the Taskmaster is basically able to shred anything it sees and then some, and now you add a doctor that's pretty much assured to revive a fallen Moderator for about 110pts total? That renders almost everything else invalidated.
Theres no doctor moderator so she's not stealing another model's role where as she would be in the observance team. The duo is purely just to lug a specialist around the table though on second thought may be a bit much. In regards to the rev healer, avi is a better doctor and is more survivable and for a doctor those are the relevant parts as one of the moiras or kusanagi will be doing the heavy lifting on the combat side of things because if the rev healer needs to get work done shit has gone sideways and you have larger concerns. I'd be okay with Avi remaining a solo piece honestly.
You should! Bakunin was my first faction and it’s a ton of fun to play. Everyone in it feels unique, which isn’t always the case in other factions. It’s great for board control with tons of mines, crazy koalas, and remotes. Definitely different from the other nomads.
If Bakunin gets an update to fire team options, the only thing I believe has to happen is cleaning up the klunky Reverend link teams. The Custodier HAris should be Custodier + Healer + Moira. Moira cores already allow 1 Healer, but should also allow 1 Custodier. Kusanagi should count as a Reverend Moira for purposes of fireteam construction. Then you can go into what would be nice to see happen. Zoe and Pi-Well being able to join either Moderator Core or Riot Grrl Core. Boarding Shotgun Taskmaster Haris option with Moderators, or maybe 2 Morlocks. As for Prowlers, the only change they need to be used more is lower the SWC on the Spitfire Variant to 1.5. Aside from that, I think D-Charges in general could use a rule update because they are useless gear most of the time.
Better. A manned heavy combat REM, possibly based on captured and reworked Rudra. Seems like a very Bakunin thing to me.
Mix and match Observance links like everyone else has said. I got into Infinity because of the Moiras/Custodier but I'm much more likely to bring them solo than linked. Also Sin Eater FTO on the Mk12 profile would be awesome.
