I have made a grave error. There was a mispack in a Janissaries box I received last week (the one with the BSG, missile launcher, Akbar doctor, and tinbot). I received three male torsos, instead of the female torso you need for the missile launcher. However, I didn't realize they were important at the time, and I threw away the blue quality control code papers before finding out I needed them. So, does anyone happen to know which quality control code goes with the female missile launcher torso in the Janissaries box? Or does anyone know how I can find out this information? I already emailed CB before realizing I needed the code, and they directed me to the mispack tutorial thread. I don't want to bother CB customer support again if it's an issue I can figure out without them. If this post breaks the rules of the forums or should go somewhere else, let me know. Thanks!
AFAIK, the codes aren't tied to the particular boxes, but are put in by those who PICK/PACK the boxes.
Ah, gotcha. Thanks! I feel bad about making more work for them/trying to be an exception to the system, but I'll take pictures and send off an email. Hopefully they'll still be able to help me.
Tell them the story, they're usually pretty good about fixing things. Especially when it's the first time you've had an issue. The packing codes are so that CB knows who to yell at for messing up!
Yup. I once got a mispacked blister (old, 1ed. Ahl Faseed BSG, perhaps enen old enough to predate the inclusion of complaint codes - I got it at a discount section of the store!) that was already phased out for a while. Took photos, explained to CB what was the problem (and why I had no code). Worked just fine.
