Hello, I'm beginning with a Hellcat. I didn't really know what to do, so I tried something luchadore like for half the helmet. Not sure if it's satisfying though. Next is Mikado, the Merc with a Luck. She is my Spector proxy for StarCo, and now the Mouse ates the Fox, she can officialy work with my Guardians Oh, and she has a little pesky friend: a DropPool (Or is it a DeadBear? But that would be super sad) ambushed next to a console. Thanks for your comments
I'm guess that you sculpted that amazing head of hair yourself correct? Any tips on how I could replicate it? Also what head did you use as the base?
Yes, I sculpted it. There are pictures of the greenstuffed miniatures. The head is from a Fusilier of the SWC box (the one with the HMG). I've filed down the beret a bit (I think she also has a ponytail I've cut). I made a ball of green stuff and just squeezed it on the head, removing parts here and adding them there to create the volume (mostly flatening it in the front). Then, I've worked with an X-acto blade to sculpt the hair, marking gently the greenstuff with the blade in the direction I thought would be logical for hair. Yeah, I'm totally bad at explaining things, and I have no real sculpting expertise whatsoever Sorry, their is not really formula. I just did it as it went until I felt satisfied with the result.
Sounds easier than I thought. Since I have a couple of those female beret heads I can use them as practice rounds to get the process under my belt.
I'm still moving... Color test for Imperial Service. Agents will have a different color added depending their rank. - Zhanying: white - Pheasant: blue - Crane: red - Hsien: yellow If I can, I'll add more details on the agents clothes. And color test for Shasvastii. They are not finished but they are mostly done. I need to add a yellow mark somewhere on them to link them with my other EI troops, but I wonder if yellow will go well with their colors Also, what kind of base could I use for the Shasvastii ? Urban ? Forest ? Industrial ?
Looking at your chosen colour palette, all of those bases should look good but you might try making forest ones to do something a bit different from nomads and YJ.
