Because Sheskiin doesn't have access to smoke, she's only 1W + NWI with no form if Shock/Viral immunity, she doesn't have ODD or Mimetism, and the troops she can link with don't have ODD and a pile of powerful mid-field guns or CC ability. Also, I hear Achilles is a pit of a prick and the Myrmidons just don't like hanging out with him. He doesn't even get invited to barbeques.

A year ago, I’d agree with everything there. With the amount of e/m, viral, jammers, linked msv2 snipers, and crazemazing hackers that are out, I don’t anymore. As more sectorials get more and more tools to deal with big threats like Achilles, I don’t see why he or Pat shouldn’t be in an Enomotarchos. Steel phalanx used to be the big dick in the room. They aren’t anymore. An army with zero deployable weapons or camo tokens. Also, sheskiin can indeed get multiple wounds. She doesn’t start with it, but she does start with fodder to throw at any shock/viral weapons that might come up.
Well, they did make the sculpture with reference to the Brad Pitt movie, and I always think those opening scenes where, because he's in a different league to other warriors, he can't even be bothered to show up for his duel with the enemy's champion. The overhead barrel-roll and heart-stab combo in those scenes also always worth a re-watch, too.

One of the things that I really liked about the company is that this stuff is going on at every level. Although Corvus Belli is an internationally successful company, they're very far from having any sort of corporate sensibilities; they're still a bunch of friends having fun with their hobby.
A better comparison would be Why can Joan be in a fireteam and Achilles not an Enomotarchos? At least the hoplite, version ODD may bring some balance concerns.
In either case, Achilles costs 70+ points. With all of the fireteam options that have been added recently, there isn't a reason to keep good models out.
Plus, Illiad's myrmidons were supposed to be led in combat by Achilles to begin with :p Well, i dont think hoplite's version of Achilles would be that a game breaker in a 4-men fireteam, especially since said fireteam can bring a doctor (and doctor as one of the best doctor of the whole galaxy), but no engineer nor real hacking defense to counter the 2 main ways of stopping Achilles in his rampage. That would still be a problem for Hector, whose only selling point versus Achilles is that he can link. Hector would definitely need some kind of buff (and i'm totally for a mixed enomotarkos team for him)
