    Yeah. Let's make a contest.
I finished off my Tarik LT Spit with my Snake Plissken Ghulam Doc, athough I had 2 Command Tokens. Sometimes dices kick you in the face.
So - I'm not that sure that doctoring someone active is the best way to gamble with your luck ;)

And about Mukhtar himself - I'm going to use him first time on Monday :) Red Fury version, will be playing 250pts 20x20system with my vanilla Haqq.
I've been using different models in my army, like Zhayedan Breaker, Sniper, like our Fatties - and now it's coming the time of SuperSoldiers. I almost feel bad for my enemies :D

Mukhtar looks interesting, though I'm personally more interested in the Namaar.

Very much so. Two useful things for a link team on a single model? Yes, please!

    Care to expand on that?
Granted we dont have the full picture yet, but so much stuff seems far more appealing right now.

E/M Templates on fast mobile troops can be absolutely devastating.

WIP14 Specialist that can face-tank a missile and keep going? That dodges on 18s? Armed with a Large Teardrop EM blast for toasting anything techy (even Camo'd)? Climbing Plus?

Enough CC to make her problematic to attack with a Ninja or other Midfield CC monster, too. (18 is my floor for competent enough to actually consider using CC)

Though the Mukhtar MSV2 Red Fury seems to be a near auto-include, that's a beast!

Really, they fill very different roles, and the armies I'm used to playing have always been strong on killing things and weak on good specialists, so an army with good specialists makes me drool. Mukhtar are killers to me, not really specialists. Yes, I know half the Mukhtar profiles are specialists, but the two I'd want to take are the MSV2 and the Viral Rifle. Add the Doc in a Haris.

In today's Biotechvore game with Vanilla against Shasvastii, a duo of Doc and MSV Mukhtars (thx, EVO!) absolutely annihilated my opponent's list, while being covered by Kums' smoke. Laying two MSV Nanopulsers through smoke is very powerful.. Too bad I got overagressive and ran into opponent's biotechvore zone, lol.
Though, when Mukhtars fell to Malignos, Naffatuns (who survived two turns in my deployment zone somehow) eagerly charged to clean up the battlefield of the remaining aliens.
Numarr didn't see much play, since she got critted two orders in a row...

Yeah, she is a effective objective grabber and one of the rare (if not only) Specialists, that can go for the button against almost every ARO and survive. Her weaponry alllows her to engage a lot of opponents....but...despite most probably beeing worth her cost she doesnt feel that way. She can do everything, but nothing really good. I am just missing something on her...be it NBW or Sensor. Sensor would have been awesome!
But she doesnt have it and I need to find something that really drags me to her. Which is hard, when there is Mukhtars, Tarik, Tuareg and Fasids. Not to mention what might still be coming.

On a side note...every CC guy trying to attack her will have a hard time, if they dont have weapons with Exotic Ammo...cause she can otherwise tank a wound and E-Marat that guy so he cant attack again this turn.

This is something I didn't consider with how she stacks up to CC Specialists. It's cool to have a unit that can stare down an approaching Ninja and thinking "atleast we have one shot here", but that depends on how brave or misinformed an opponent is.

Total Immunity really looks like the most interesting gain for Haqq to me. I'm excited to leverage her against long range AROs turn 1 if she can slot into a full link, but maybe that's just because I have a... Colorful history with shooting missile launchers on my active turn lol

An extremely tough and mobile operator will always be welcome. Especially one that can complete objectives, engage in firefights and threaten heavy troops.

Whoa, I didnt get it when I first read your post, but yeah...finally using Team Pro in Vanilla is worth a try. We can build three Duos now of which one is awesome.

Also now we have the option to leave the Supersoldiers back in the Biotechvore Zone if need be, cause we can bring them back to ful wounds again. Its crazy how much these new units bring to the faction.

I am somewhat terrified of the power a Red Fury Mukhtar + Mutt combo is going to have in Vanilla. Heck, for that price, you could easily get two of each...

I don’t think it’s really that much scarier than a djanbazan or a khawarij. The NWI helps to make them a little extra critical proof but the other two have different advantages to aid in their aggression.

Not to derail too much but until we see link options for the namurr i feel like its outclassed a bit in Rama, however when you look at it in vanilla its a fantastic choice.

I had to spend a bit of time figuring out how/why you guys were saying the Namurr could face-tank missiles... although my most faced opponent has been Ariadna, I've never seen a dog-warrior in the field before and it shows XD

in terms of sensor - in ramalah - this new Ariadna biker + doggo
in term of how usable she is - compared to other strange design - Shikami , Namur is rather easy to use no awkward weapon combos

How Hyper dynamic 2 works with Change facing against out of los attacks ? it is +6 to ph then - 3 for chane facing ?? ending on change facing on 15 ??
one of the appeling thing is - she looks like Alita .... :P
inCC it may be Emarat but a D charges works wonders to :P

The more I think about the Namurr the better I think she is. A move of 6" with climbing plus before you press a button is extremely useful for a lot of scenarios. Similarly a 1 SWC Spitfire that can do that, plus has other attack vectors, plus is extremely hard to kill and excellent against deployable and perimeter weapons? This is all good.

Yeah if she was BS 13 that'd be ace, but she'd also cost 1.5 SWC and cost a couple of points more. As she is? She's good times. If you want a BS 13 Spitfire then Khawarij do a great job at it for less points.

Yeah, what's with low SWC costs on some of our troops, like this one?

SWC cost bumps can make an extremely efficient troop more balanced, or make a profile more appealing. Also the higher the BS/BS mods/etc the higher the SWC tends to be.

Since the Namurr is BS 12, she doesn't have mods, and the Spitfire is not a particularly heavy weapon, 1 SWC seems appropriate. Definitely appeals to me! I think she's a great trooper and in Haqq being of average BS but with excellent flexibility and mobility is something we can totally deal with.
