I actually like new guijia. Sword may have bad design, but it is not hard to change it. And you can take left arm from original release.

 

Seeing them next to each other I prefer the old Guijia but both are among the best TAGs, wish people would use them more. I'm really impressed with these new releases recently. Uprising really didn't do anything for me and actually dulled my affection for the game but this all looks much better!

 

Agreed. I think it's a cool sculpt.

 

I like the regular Guija more. The alternate lacks the coolnes of the battle stance. No need for a second one, but maybe he get an alternate profile.
Mr. Messer looks cool, arms and face like Aleph, hair like Tohaa - and the Artwork is pretty cool too. Lot´s of Shasvastii activity here ... shudders ;-)

I am looking forward for a fresh Paradiso Campaign! Saito resculpt as a boni for buying book and box is a bit meh. Hope there will be a regular resculpt with sword - so we have another character with 3+ sculpts :-)

Also, on FB (NOT in official Infinity group) was mentioned that preorders are available through local shops, but check it it yourself in you local shops, I am not an official, folks.

 

Yeah but a lot of those biovisors are on bao troops or black friars who always get left at home. I guess people would rather risk death by speculo than have those guys around.

 

The alternate Tikbalang and Oyoroi prizes didn’t come with new profiles, so I’m guessing the Guijia won’t, either.

 

They both gained AP HMGs in the last year.

 

And the “alternate” Tik sculpt is Eduardo, which was a separate profile.

 

Any chance the OP can update his post with all the pics? I've been out of the loop and 700+ pages is a lot m'kay. :)

I had forgotten that the O-Yoroi was altered when it moved into the new JSA. I guess the Treason pack came out slightly before Uprising, so I guess that counts for something.

Sure, but the whole point of that storyline was the death of Toni, because they realized having a character TAG wasn’t actually a good idea. The current Tikbalang is kind of an averaging of the old Tik and Toni, but right now, today, the prize is effectively just a generic Tikbalang with alternate arms.

I guess we’ll see if there’s a narrative link that would give a reason for the Guijia to get an upgrade. I certainly don’t object to this happening, but I don’t necessarily see any reason to assume that it will.
