Can you use Blackout (AHD) on a Jammer?

On the weapons chart both the Jammer and Sniffer have similar straight, but neither say outright say 'comm equipment'. When i look up comms equipment in the wiki, it list several pieces of equipment including sniffer, but does not list the Jammer. But in the list of identified equipment ends in 'etc', implying there are more. Does the more include a sniffer?

Thanks, I was looking at the traights listed in ArmyV, where it had Jammer listed as Comms attack.

It performs a Comms Attack, it isn't Comms Equipment.

Just kill the guy with the jammer. They aren't super survivable.

As Cartographer says, the Comms Attack Trait (what the item does) is not related to the Comms Equipment Label (what the item is).

It would make for a good counter. A well placed Jammer is hard to dislodge. Before hand the impetuous order was a penalty, but with the Heckler it's a little too easy to get it in a key spot. Meanwhile veteran is rare skill that is too situational, to actively put in a list. An AHD at least is a specialist.

Playing Ikari and having only one Lt. option, Veteran is a MUST! Not situational for me. Everyone knows and goes to kill my Lt. right away.

Well, two lieutenant options. Brawler or Keisotsu. But that is quite limited, and no Chain of Command, either. I hadn’t really done any Ikari listbuilding, so I had not realized how restricted they were.

They used to have Druze, but they took that away.
