Color me unimpressed. I need to see more to judge it properly, but I just might prefer the old Shas look more.
I would like to see the whole thing and not a fan of the red (that is for Nomads) but I think it looks decent to good.
Which is a much easier fix than liking the colour scheme but not the look! They don't look much different to the old look, in my opinion. The Sphinx is fairly different, but the actual Shas they showed looks similar. Luckily I quite liked the old look anyway.
There's more than the Sphinx. new Shrouded maybe? I like the way you think. I've wondered how Shasvastii that are developed from an embryo in the battle field would have a cube.
Let's see the actual models. It looks promising, but why red which is the polar oposite of green. It's a bit of shock to be honest.
I am curious as to what these things are. My guess is that the one on the right is a new Speculo Killer but the other two have me stumped. They look pretty sinister. They are not wearing the new bright red Shas colour and they don't have that classic hunched Shas look about them. The purple glowey lights are screaming out Combined Army and their weapons look fairly Alien. Can anyone shed some light for me? or at the least speculate.
I think CB wanted to unify color scheme of the CA and red is right now studio color of the CA. It is more likely Speculo Agent. There is even idea that it is Victor Messer (model from the new limited ITS pack and Shas agent who was behind backdoor crisis). Other 2 pics can be either new Shas units or new designs for existing Shas unit.
The two new looking things both seem to be floating in the air, they look to have a posture that is more human than frog and their face masks and armour look decidedly unlike any previous shasvastii design or the designs released today. I may well be wrong but I think they might be something else. Possibly Umbra.
I don't think so, the right one looks rather female in the full picture... could just be the angle, though. Wouldn't that just be a kick in the pants... :P Second attempt at Shas redesign, second decision to make that redesign Umbra instead.
I think the Sphinx artwork is weak, I'm not sure how to describe it. Flat maybe? But I bet the mini will be sharper and sleeker. I have high hopes. I love what I assume is a Speculo above. The guns look great too. I will not be painting them red at all.
The Sphinx and the other one (seed soldier?Shrouded?) are unispiring, the Shrouded (?) is even bland... But this new Speculo is a BIG winner, even with the overusage of red, really really cool, i hope we see more of this type of design...
