Can you reroll a failed Engineer roll with a Command Token if the target has G: Mnemonica?
Apparently G:M is an exception to the Ghost equipment that it does not contain Ghost: Remote Presence and G:RP states inside it's description box that you can reroll failed Engineer rolls. However, on the Engineer skill it states (outside the skillbox) that you can reroll failed Engineer rolls on any Ghost equipment.
    Which one takes priority?

The fact that Mnemonica lacks the note "this skill includes G:RP" and that instead includes Valor should be self-explaining....

Technically that wouldn't prevent Engineer rerolls if it is indeed just the presence of any Ghost equipment that requires, as stated in the Engineer skill.
Nothing to do with Valor. It could be that CB didn't want Mnemonica to include Valor, but could have wanted it to grant rerolls.
I'm more inclined to not allow the reroll, because if they wanted it, they could have written the same reroll text in Mnemonica as they did in Remote Presence.

The fact that Ghost:Remote Presence is the skill with the actual effects bullet point:
    • Additionally, when using Engineer (or other Special Skills or piece of Equipment that state so explicitly) to repair a trooper with G: Remote Presence, you may expend one Command Token to reroll a failed WIP Roll.
means that the text in Engineer is just a damned reminder/cross reference to that bullet point.

Sometimes I wish CB would bite the bullet and edit the rules PDF and wiki directly to reflect changes in FAQ or otherwise fix confusing/broken rules.

But the Command Token tactical use just mentions the Ghost skill itself:
    • Reroll a failed WIP Roll when trying to use the Special Skill Engineer on a troop with the Ghost Special Skill. This reroll does not provide a new ARO to the enemy.
    Same for Engineer:

    Engineer and Ghost Special Skill

If the target of the repair is a trooper with the Ghost Special Skill, then the Engineer may expend one Command Token to reroll his failed WIP Roll. This Roll may be rerolled indefinitely as long as a Command Token is spent each time.

As a player I would allow my opponent to reroll. Same if being TO.

    Please, stop here.
It is known. In one point it says a thing, in another it says a different thing. We can run in circle for (p)ages and go nowhere further.

Waiting for @HellLois and eventual FAQ/Errata...

Should I add it to the unsolved question list ?

Maybe it needs a clarification but in my opinion the G: Remote Presence, Engineer and Command Tokens rules don't say "a different thing" than the other rules. They all allow the use of Command Tokens for rerolling repairs. Funny though: If you would delete the G:RP part I doubt there would be any questions about the rule anymore. :)

At this point I suggest to use command tokens and reroll.
    1. It is allowed by CT rules.
    2. It is allowed in Engineer rules.
    3. It is not forbidden in G mnemonica, just not mentioned that is allowed.
    2 out of 3. Majority wins :)

I would, if only because it comes up every now and again and I think the question lingers over CB's intent on G:M. Did they purposely leave it out to differentiate it, or did they realize that it wasn't necessary because the Engineering skill and CT usage blurbs already cover it?

Or, more likely, didn't even consider it.

I think G: Mnemonica not including G: Remote Presence is intentional.

I don’t know what their intention re: repair rerolls was; I’ve always played it that they are allowed.

Concur, with the further note that it isn't even just two out of three; it's two points in favour and one silent on the topic.
