Like the title; When you lose a FtF roll of Change Facing against someone, and if you cant improve your cover by failing a Guts Roll, do you have to try in vain until you die or miraculously succeed at Chanhe Facing? Really?
You mean a situation like this : Trooper A shoots trooper B on the back from more than 20 cm away Trooper B got no ARO Trooper A miss his BS attack roll Here yes, trooper B cannot do anything but wait for a second BS attack in the next order of trooper A
Currently, you sit there facing the wrong way. Failing a Guts roll and going prone doesn't allow you to change facing. In order to turn your model in your situationyou must: Pass a Change Facing roll and win the F2F Forfeit your ARO (or not get one) and use Warning (assuming you survive) Fail your Guts roll and move up to 2" to improve your cover It was last asked Dec last year and still the only official word I can remember is a link to a "solved" thread in the old forums where Solkan's post was marked as correct: http://infinitytheforums.com/forum/...essive-fire-and-armguts-rolls/#comment-597226
Actually, in that case you do get to change your facing as per the Warning rule http://infinitythewiki.com/en/Warning REQUIREMENTS To perform a Warning! the following conditions must be met: The trooper cannot be activated by Order or ARO in the same Order. An allied trooper inside his Zone of Control or the trooper himself must have been targeted by an Attack. WARNING! RULE (Active Turn/ Reactive Turn) Warning! is always performed at the end of the Order, in the Conclusion, after the ARM/BTS Rolls. Warning! allows the trooper to spin, without changing its position, to modify the arc of his LoF so the attacker is within it. This is an automatic movement which doesn't require any Roll. As Warning! is performed at the Conclusion of the Order, it doesn't generate an ARO.
Wasn't this recently answered by Koni? You can still Warning! and turn around, even if you were activated by the order. (Spanish rules have the correct sequence of operations, not English)
Not the correct sequence, or you mean a whole lying/missing requirement ? The trooper cannot be activated by Order or ARO in the same Order. Is a very clear restriction. I don't see how you can modify the sequence to have it say the opposite.
Depends on how you read it: The trooper cannot be activated by Order or ARO in the same Order after the Warning. -vs- The trooper cannot use Warning if he was activated by Order or ARO in the same Order.
My bad, it's Helllois and the very basic rules. It's not Warning, but as a result of an attack (i.e. taking/saving damage). Warning's restriction is still relevant when your opponent fails their attack. https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threads/guts-rule-discrepancy-spanish-v-english.26397/#post-198577
