Patches and stuff

They just don’t want you to have any.

 

I dunno about patches. I do have a few from attending tournaments and ITS prizes, but I don't know what to do with them. I worry that what starts innocently enough with a faction patch or two on the army bag, could oh-so-quickly turn into something more pernicious.

Like one day you're playing Caledonians, and the next you’re wearing a kilt and claymore to tournaments, and using a bad Scottish accent to refer to yourself in the third person, by your forum nickname.

From there, there's really nothing to save you from the lonely, dark and tragic decline into checking your ITS points on a daily basis. Best not to start with the patches at all, I fear.

Patches were pulled from the store, CB will no longer offer them.

Pins are staying.

 

Pins are probably cheaper than patches to get made.

 

It's a bloody shame, I was looking forward to getting some. Now I guess I will just have to order some made locally.

 

There may still be some patches lurking in various parts of the distribution chain. Which one(s) did you want?

 

Technically, there are both PNGs and vector SVGs of all unit patches out there, IIRC, so ordering some for yourself is at least possible, if not expensive.

When was that announced?

Really wanted an ASA patch :(

 

I don't know when or even if it was officially announced but that's how it's gonna be AFAIK.

 

Bonus points for being able, theoretically, to fix what's wrong with them. Like with that TAK patch you've mentioned.

 

What's wrong with that patch? I don't read Cyryllic.

dang, I wanted a TAK patch for my case.. guess I'll have to sort my own out.

 

Ask around the various stores (and check Amazon), patches should still be in the distribution pipeline for a while.
