I thought druze had a great guy for taking out stuff like this. Don't nimbus grenades flip the table on msv area denial? Either tag him with an em grenade or protect your sniper with nimbus.

Yeah that’s been called out as probably the best option.

An alternative E-M vector is the Bashi Bazouk with E/mauler. Don't even need to engage directly, as long as you can get the deployable E/mauler down to cover enough of the link team. The beauty is that it will go off to an ARO, without offering the chance to reform the link team.

I love that bashi profile, and it's a solid tactic to place it and then potentially sacrifice the Bashi to provoke the ARO that will set it off.

Used that tactic in my match of Hunting Party at Rumble 2018. Laid one behind a specialist Ayarr and then shot it in the face with the MSR using stun rounds.

Once the thing is down, I'd be more brazen with whatever is in front. Although, moving a holoecho out to provoke the shot has a certain bastardry to it...

Infiltrated Hunzakut LGL. No risk, just spam grenades on 8 until he dies.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Cybermask. He still needs to discover and the KHD can move on or even surprise shot.

Don't get surprise shot against a linked Kamau, and going into cybermask kicks your hacker from their own link.

^Is why. In other factions, I’d agree it’s a more viable option. (Edit for clarification: more viable after dismantling the team - I don’t think it’s the best option for DBS).

Ok I understand the no surprise, but I was also not thinking of the KHD being in the link but a solo. It can still make the Kamau discover rather than shoot.

Probably but it's still an option that you don't otherwise have. Especially if the link is down a few buys and not longer have Sixth Sense.

Agreed here. It’s more of a late game/desperate times ploy. (For me).

Just to note: A big thanks to everyone who has provided input on this thread. I’ve since played vs a linked Kamau 5 times, (3 with DBS), and have managed quite well.

Reducing the Kamau’s burst has been the most effective solution, with a surprise Bashi (or other AD - massacared the whole team with a really lucky QK yuan yuan in one game ^_^) being a close second.

Most importantly, the best option, truly, is to eliminate other members of the link first. Squaring off against this sniper is really ballsey without a proper plan in place. (Surprise)!

    Thank you everyone!

Having abused my opponents with the Brawler MSR in a 5 man all of last season, I can affirm this. I killed more units in ARO with her than any other unit I've ever played in any faction.

That Kamau is even more brutal area denial and going head to head while it still has 5 man fireteam bonuses carries a high risk of losing the unit you're activating to kill it.

Last match, frontline (three match its tournament), linked Brawler MSR killed tons of units. I love Druze.
