Heyo, Brand new to infiNity so I don't really know how model releases occur. Any rough speculation on a release for the Mowang or other unreleased models from Third Offensive? (Mowang is from third offensive right?)
We generally get ~5 releases on an average month, CB will generally give a look ahead to the next couple of months at conventions. Cancon is next week and they're doing a video for it so hopefully that'll give an idea for March/April, and then it's Adepticon which will definitely have something. They do still sometimes keep something back as a surprise though.
Mowang is one of the bigger releases for IA (pun totally not intended, but I'm keeping it!), so I'm guessing sooner rather than later. But March or April at the earliest. We don't have all the troops for Tunguska yet, and they were officially released a couple months before 3rd Offensive. Not even all the signature new troops (TacPuppets and ZondNautica AI motorcycles!) yet. JSA mostly lucked out by having a pretty small set of models, and had maybe half of them already released as CAD sculpts, so it only took a couple releases post-Army Pack to get them complete.
Same here. I've been using the Daofei HMG, and that sculpt is sufficiently ballers on the table for how much these bastards murder stuff, but I'd like an actual Zhencha.
In before CB decides to troll us all (again) with the Multirifle version. Agreed. Though I wouldn't mind if it was the Red Fury instead.
Mowangs are fine, although I rarely use MR profile. Flammenspeer on spitfire option is awesome. I want him in this weapon ASAP!!
For now I use the Su Jian to represent the Mowang, or the Mk12 Kriza, I really hope to see it soon 'cause it's an amazing unit (NCO ).
The little piece of armour on the lower left is a piece that normally covers the triceps on Yu Jing armour IIRC
Yes, but that piece of armour usually cover a larger area of the triceps than what we see in the picture. It's possible that they have taken the photo without all pieces attached, but that would mean the ginormous collar of the Mowang is detachable without leaving cutting or clipping marks. It is possible that this is possible that what this is is another snipershot of one of the female Zuyong (the previous being that of the combi rifle's torso being clipped and photo taken from below), which would explain why the generator backpack would be smaller and the triceps guard would be smaller as well. Yes, armour plates being scaled down to cover less synth muscle is part of the weirder aspect of some of CB's dimorphism. Edit: although thinking about it the exposed amount of synth muscles really matches the IA starter Liu Xing's pose with the wings detached
