I actually think CB did a great job on these. I like the poses, the sculpts, and the "motion" in them.

Shame it was on beasts of war.

I think (read: hope) this means that CB is trying to listen to us when we give feedback. The two boxes are miles apart.

But we all know PanO can't have nice things, so I'm not surprised at all. (Just kidding! VIRD is a masterpiece).

 

Yep (not to mention Panzerfaust issue and Aquilas "shoulder thingy").

Also yes, VIRD is great, so great that I will probably dumbster my MO for the time being (as there is little reason to play it), but first I need to finish painting that damn OSS.

I just wish one had been sculpted as if just landing from a superjump.

 

Those Khawarijs have 4 different poses from 2 sets of legs, all poses are reasonable.
There are no tactical rocks or other garbage on the bases.
No rage fists.
If they have sane, Red Veil-style joints, as opposed to "left eyeball and right boot sole in one piece" style, I'll have absolutely nothing to complain about. It's a very weird feeling.

 

Roommate asked the 'duh' question: Might the Mk12 be a hacker profile, what with that odd visor on the turban? As I type this, I wonder if that could also be another type of visor, X or MSV?

Though this does give two new profiles (Mk12 and HRL), and 5 total fairly-current Khawarij sculpts. (Rifle+LSG is in the Red Veil box). I'm probably going to have to put a Noob Tube ('Faust) on top of the pack of the Boarding Shottie sculpt, just so I remember it has the stupid thing.

 

The leak said MSV mk12, but that doen't mean its right.

 

Don't hackers usually have the hacking hand pose, rather than a pistol?

 

It wasn't really a leak, it was the product page on the distributers site. They'd have got the information from CB.

Of course, that also doesn't mean it's right... :P

 

Hackers don't usually get Mk12's.

 

Pose is a bit weird. He's not quite looking where he's pointing the gun, but not looking away enough, and it looks kinda awkward to me.
