Has anyone here had much experience using Kamael snipers? The cost and SWC seems low enough that sometimes with the right table the might be pretty valuable, but I haven't been game to actually put them in lists yet.

Me neither. But a wide-stretched traid with Gao-Rael Sniper, Kamael Sniper and Kaeltar Chain of Command should be really nice for some backup support and blocking.
Kameal snipers fit the same role as nikouls for me, good at locking a fire lane, but will die to anything serious. As soon as a camo sniper or hmg appears they are done, a gao-real can elevate this, but their main job is to act as a speedbump.
Haven't tried it, but it'll probably just die without achieving anything; it would be the weakpoint if the Triad, the first one to be targetted and killed. If I want a cheap long-range speedbump, the Kawaii Sentinel Sniper is my choice.
I use them all the time, preferably 2 in a Triad with a Paramedic to back them up. They strip a couple of orders away from the opponent and that's it.
Could be something like this. Mind you, it's nothing special. Neema All-comers ────────────────────────────────────────────────── GROUP 1 9 1 2 NEEMA Lieutenant (Advanced Command) Spitfire, Nanopulser / Viral Pistol, Shock CCW. Kamael paramedic feels like it should probably be a krakot (outside of scenario specific concerns) and you might want to disguise the Igao amongst the other camo tokens in the second group, but I like it overall. Thanks for sharing :)
You're using the Krakot? That sounds interesting. I've thought about it before, but unfortunately I just don't like the "default" model. Do you use the chainrifle-loadout?
Also I often play one or two krakot on the list. I find it very strong at a low cost, SMG loadout or Chain Rifle
Yep. Single SMG and dual Chain Rifle profiles are both very good, and which I use pretty much comes down to whether I need to shave a point for some other purpose. They don't go in every list (defensively they're edged out by cheaper flamethrower chaksas; offensively by more expensive but better preceptors) but sometimes the points are there to fit them and they rarely disappoint as either corner guards that can deploy a bit further forward to unclutter the DZ, or occasional excellent value trade attackers. It also doesn't hurt that locally I've got a couple of very solid Haqq players, and with the emergence of jammers in other factions having a model that can reliably close with and shock out a Mutt, Heckler or Cobra without worrying about jammer AROs is very valuable (obviously we already have Sukeuls with both veteran and stealth but the entire triad needs to have some measure of both or you're still vulnerable - and Sukeuls are much more expensive than Krakot).
The Krakot is a great unit in Tohaa. I tend to take the 14 double Chain Rifle just for the access to grenades, (The grenades really shine when you hit that +3 Phys and Regeneration on the Metachemistry 2 chart), but having pulled ranged weapons from panoplies in Armory, I can definitely see the appeal of the other options as well, (though I think the Red Fury points and SWC could be spent more effectively on other units).
Yeah really agree with the grenade profile. I think Tohaa get better access to cheaper SMG/Flame profiles in the Kaauri & Chaksa so the Grenade profile is giving us something we don't have access to. I do tend to find that I'll trade a Krakot for a Chaksa if i'm looking for points else where though. I should probably find those points else where cause Krakots are damn tasty.
When you get right down to it, the Tohaa 10-15pt bracket is incredibly competitive. Chaksas, Kaurii with SMG, Krakots, Makauls and even in a sense the 12pt Preceptor (who admittedly comes with an 8pt beast stapled to him but seriously look at that profile for 12pts).
12pts for 2 wounds, SMG, and smoke. I made this same comment the other day. (and only just realised the dude isn't even Impet/Frenzy to justify the bargain price)
I'm not sure if this is rarely used profile but lately, I'm running Le Muet MSV but as an offensive piece and I really like it.
I must finally give it a try. after a long time I finally dared to paint it and as soon as it is finished, I bring the alien tigers to the table. Also interesting. Unfortunately it's similar to the Krakot: I don't think the normal model is as beautiful as the ITS model. And that demotivates me to buy the models in the first place.
