Hi folks, was thinking of lists for 200pt. No missions yet known for the tournament, so just a general "kill 'em all, grab what you can" list. Any ideas? I'd be tempted to swap the mech-engineer for a 5th fireteam member, but then it gets kinda scary having no way out of IMM-2 or isolation. You could also swap out the Daoying LT for a Zhanshi hacker + Zhanshi LT. That also gives you a full team and enough points to replace the Warcor with a Zhanshi FO - still flash pulses in ARO but gives a regular order. Zhanshi are AVA 4 so you could stick a Panggu in there to fill the team out. LT's much easier to assassinate though. Yeah, like this list, thank you! While there were no answers I've edited my previous post, but regarding my previous versions your's look better :)
I made this list as an anti camo/TAK list previously I had the daoying MSR in, but I was over on SWC, so I made him a hacker (now I can at least put on fairy dust and also use this against some other hacking lite factions too.) I used thesaved points to upgrade the tac aware guy to a Shang Ji, for the flamethrower. Normally wouldn’t use them, but in this instance I think it is fine. I’m curious to see other solutions against camo spam. Do you think this works? i like this list. i just played today a high Classified and the game finish in a draw 0 x 0 , just because i didn´t have a elite, veteran or a chain of command.
im playing a similar list in 300! the Son Bae SML is a blessing. Today i took a Asawira haris, with two Muybis in a sigle ARO. Both missiles hit so my opponent had to do 6 AP+DA saves
I second the praise for the Son-Bae. Plus, with the Dao-mamma hacker you can put AF on it and go to town. I've been building my IA Cores with it + Haidao MSV and I love it (Zhanshi Core, Zuyong Core... It doesn't matter, just slap'em there and give it a go).
I just played Annihilation against OSS with this. The ShangJi was realy strong in ARO, dominating the lanes while the MoWang went for the backfield, but got caught by an Assault Hacker and killed by a Combi Deva in two orders, hehe. --- Liga1 - Annihilation v1 ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 9 1 DĀOYĪNG Lieutenant L2 Boarding Shotgun / Breaker Pistol, Knife. Lunah: Absolute baller. MLX is nuts. Zuyongs: TacAw HMG profile is extremely high value. Has made its way into alot of my lists as a backup attack piece, and having a free HMG shot each turn is great for picking at flash pulse targets to lower the chance my primary attack model gets stunned. Tai Sheng: It's kind of like mixing CoC into your list without actually paying for CoC. You get to spend the LT orders without worrying about losing the LT. Liu Xing: Is even more of a trashcan when you make him compete with Tigers Daoying: Used all three profiles. All three profiles are great in their own right especially when they have an NCO paired with them. Mowang: Haven't used this one yet. Hulang: Haven't used this one yet. Zencha: Useful, mostly in the fact that he allows you to skew more camo heavy lists (sticking down 7-8 camo tokens is great), and frees up the Guilang profiles to not just be FO profiles and to pick up Minelayer and the MSR more often. Speaking of which. Guilang MSR: This is a model I've been enjoying alot. Our local terrain sets include alot of holo signs that provide a low visibility zone, as well as tables that feature forest areas, which cause low visibility and saturation zones. These types of terrain can make the Guilang even more annoying to deal with as an ARO piece if they can find a good spot to fire through these visibility zones as with MSV1 and in ARO these have 0 effect on the Guilang while adversely affecting many enemies. Not having to sacrifice Infiltrating Specialist slots to take this piece has been fantastic.
have you tested this ideas? im thinking about it too, but i can´t drop my zanshi+SML+Haidao sniper till now
Not yet, guys have been distracted by new shinies. And one of the guys is all butt-hurt because 3rd Offensive only has like 6 pages of new rules in it... [ edit ] Dunno how he missed the memo that the rules are free, you buy the books for the fluff. That's been true for as long as Infinity has been a thing!
Has anyone tried a REM heavy list? Since our attack remotes are so good, thought this might be a fun starting point: Invincible REMs ────────────────────────────────────────────────── GROUP 1 10 LÙ DUĀN Mk12, Heavy Flamethrower / Electric Pulse. (0 | 8) WARCOR (Aerocam) Flash Pulse / Stun Pistol, Knife. (0 | 3) 5 SWC | 300 Points Open in Infinity Army With Overclock on, this list ought to have a pretty sizeable ARO presence even on turn 1. You could also swap the Zhencha for 2 Weibing for even more REMs, or even use an AF Husong as your HMG to free up some points for more stuff.
Had my first game with IA last night. We randomizes scenarios in the Comlog app and got Tic-tac-toe. It didn’t go very well, but a lot thanks to my own inexperience. However it got me thinking, in case I need to play in heavy button pushing scenarios, I should have a list ready for that particular type of missions. Say no to list building before mission picking. Infinity interbalance depends on you having decent chance of preparing lists specifically for scenarios. If you want to do random mission picks I'd suggest 20x20 or TACOS instead of ITS. They better balance the random scenario aspect.
