Speculo Killer complete! I just have to finish varnishing the lot and I'll be done with CA for a bit.
@xammy They all look great. Do you play any of the forces you paint or just do small lists for fun projects?
I play NCA and am starting Varuna. This was a project for my brother-in-law. I've also worked on my brothers Ariadna & Aleph. The running joke is I can't paint my own models but every one else gets nice models. :) This coming year it's my goal to paint my entire PanO collection as well as finish painting my terrain.
@xammy I think you will do amazing on your own models and I look forward to seeing them finished. Hope Varuna serves you as well as you NCA has.
Yes, you should! Though you might not like seeing things with that much light on them... (my running joke is that unless your photo subject is emitting smoke from all the light on it, you definitely do not have enough light, and if it is emitting smoke you might, just MIGHT, have too much light on it. ) Though most photo rigs use very hot halogen lamps and take a long time to cool off. If you can find an LED setup, that's much better.
@xammy Still looking good. I hope your brother-in-law enjoys this new addition to his Combined force.
I've started working on my PanO models. With Varuna out I've been inspired to change up what I was originally going to do with my army. I am practicing my new paint scheme on my Squalo. This WIP is about half way through. He's minty fresh! :)
I've been playing NCA, but I've started collecting Varuna. It's great that the Squalo is a part of both!
I too like units that are cross-sectorial since it lessens the amount of stuff that I have or want to buy.
I like it! I admit that I think I like the pose of the old Squalo better, but that model hasn't aged well. Especially with the size of the other CAD-sculpted TAGs like the O-Yoroi and the Drago/Jotum/nuSqualo.
lol that's a once in a lifetime kind of outcome. The best counter is to bring the Avatar next game and return the favor. lol
