I hope so. :D CB could do something similar to Suryat or Riot Girls box (3 Shang Ji and a tinbot). If they make it, I hope the Shang Ji loadouts will be Spitfire, Combi+lft, HRL. However, instead of a tinbot (or one of those other 3 loadouts), there could be a hacker Shang Ji (since they seem to like the air-typing hacker pose a lot).
Nah that's solidly in the territory of Zuyongs cost less points and SWC and get bigger guns. Shang Ji's only real deal is their HRL if you want that gun, the AHD, and leading Zhanshi links. Everything else they try Zuyongs beat them for cost effectiveness.
I could see them doing a Shang Ji box. They are old sculpts, and their armour looks a lot like Cranes without the flowing robes or braids. It's maybe not the most popular opinion, but I really like the Securitate SWC box with the one Grenzer in it; having the RL, CombiLFT+TinbotB, and Spitfire Shang Jis and a fourth model like a Daoying HD would be a good idea, I think.
Shang JI haris is much better than a Zuyong haris, for the midfield. While the Zuyong are more of a long-range platform, the Shang Ji performs better in the midfield. If B5 Spitfire is not enough, you always have a B2 light flame thrower, for all that pesky Camo, ODD, Mimetism etc.
I just really want to see a Hulang model sometime soon. While not exactly the best pick for IA lists, it's such a cool and fun profile to use in vanilla, it really deserves a badass, menacing model to fit the theme.
That's how most sentences involving the Shang Ji start, really. Like "I really wish CB didn't fumble as badly as they did with them."
Shang-Ji are better, Triumph isn't saying anything other than that, but are they really so much better that it's worth dropping your Zhencha down to a Warcor for it?
It's a measure of the Shang-Ji's price relative to Zuyong, not a comment on a specific list. Besides, I don't think anyone has posted a list in this thread with a Warcor in it yet.
The thing that bothers me most about the stupid Liu Xing sculpt is the hacker is clearly attempting to hack... with his hacking visor off.
We have Zuyong ML profile, so Shang Ji HRL is also outperformed. He knows that he will be proxying SO, so why should he care of his visor? And also on pics for state propaganda posters it looks even better
Please don't give them ideas. He is just trying to be as cool as his Tuareg sempai. Besides visors are for noobs. True console cowboys don't use them.
I would genuinely prefer a tinbot over a 4th useless Shang Ji. Unless they make Shang Ji actively good and worth taking in more than 1 copy.
Shang Ji probably won't be a tinbot box, there's too many profiles to do. HRL, Spitfire, Medic, Combi, Hacker, Multirifle
