They look fantastic but I'm glad most of them I don't want or need. I'm hoping for blisters of Haidao and Daoying. One thing I wish they would try doing more of is kneeling figures. Like the Rev Healer. One of my favorites still is the sitting Djanbazan.
Hope down the line they do another combi sculpt and or hmg since those are going to be by far the most common zuyong. Maybe repack the existing hmg blister since filling in links with TacA units seems to be the one.
By the looks of it , it seems the ML Zuyong should allow to swap arms with both HMG and MULTI Zuyongs easily.
It looks technically solid. Some weird mental magic is going on. I don't know why, but the dimorphism is bugging me, more than even the extremes of the Domaru or Brigada. Maybe it's the bright orange scheme, which blurs out the distinctive features and leaves only the outlines. I mean I know these models are radically different from the Wu Ming, but the at a glance the female sculpts don't give that impression. He looks more in line with the massive MR than the HMG.
I replaced those with 0.5mm Music wire and dropped a blob of superglue on each end to prevent stabbing myself. Might be better with 0.75mm music wire, though. Unlikely, the HMG is much smaller than the Multi. Nearly a full head shorter, and much less bulky. It will work with one of them, and most likely the Multi. Exactly.
You must buy different miniatures than the ones CB sell. I have both Zuyongs and despite pictures may deceive you they keep the exact same proportions and scale. Only different thing is that Zuyong's MULTI frontal chest is a tad bit wider than the HMG one, but it's OK. It's possible to swap arms between both. It's just MULTI 's arms look a it weird in the HMG torso because the pose doesn't fit for a natural stance, but HMG arms on MULTI torso fit good.
I think we must have different miniatures, because the ones I just saw are really different scale. I agree with Section9. As much as HMG kinda fits the Multi guy, the other way around it looks ridiculously too big. Edit: ObviousGray just did the experiment, wait for the pics
Thanks bro I tried to make another sculpt of Zuyong HMG, cause you know three same pose is not that appealing. Bought another Red Veil, swapped arms. First was not that bad, but.. K, here begins the problem. MR Zuyong's arms are definetely bigger than HMG counterpart. Arms combined, and yes it is a problem. Size problem is real, gentlemen, and our HMG man is small for sure. :(
The blatant dimorfism utterly kills this starter for me. It bothered me with the Domarus, but this is just too much. Those female Zuyong are puny.
If it won't upload easily, won't give me easy access to the direct URL for hotlinking, it's not any better than no host at all.
Ummm are we using the same site? It's drag and drop uploading and it generates the link when it uploads? like 10 seconds to drag drop copy paste link bbcode for forums is in the drop down menu when you upload
@Section9 here's a drag and drop upload off /pol/, you can just drag it straight off the website hosting it to reupload no need to download it yourself. I don't think there's anything simpler to use for throwaway pics you don't care about.
I just don't like that the HMG Zuyong was before they put the Breaker Pistols on them... He looks out of place.
