Do you ever really use the Baggage TR bots? They just don't seem all that great to me. I've been almost exclusively CA until this last year, but those just never really interested me.

They're REALLY starting to grow on me. CA doesn't really have an equivalent , just the human factions, but for 21 points you get a solid defense piece. I wouldn't take one instead of a TR HMG, but when you're out of SWC, or want more defense, they're fantastic. Also for scenarios that involve claiming territory, each one is worth 41 points, and is pretty threatening when defending itself. I'll be taking one to the LVO to help defend against all those pesky Yuan Yuan. The Kameel is extra good at the job though with a burst 2 template weapon as well as the combi to shoot with.

Brawlers: I'm using Hafza for the following reasons:

    • Same Move
    • Same BS
    • Same Arm
    • Same default weapon: Rifle, Light Shotgun
    • Hafza are rarely deployed on the table 'as is', so that makes it unique/noteworthy to see them like that on deployment.
    • Also, I have, like, 3 of them in excess of QK AVA, so why not?
I've converted them all to have different heads. I'll post some pics once they're fully painted.

For Hunzakut, I'm just using...Hunzakut...because they already have a sculpt...which I already have...and..they're lovely models.

While I don't love Gromoz or Saito's sculpts...I'm using them because they already exist. Though I'm thinking of converting Saito to swap his legs out for a spare Tiger Soldier's I have lying around, so he's not doing that silly pose. I'll also painted him up like the Metal Gear Solid Cyber Ninja. Because reasons.

Also just using the Fanous remote from Haqq to represent the Fugazi (same points and stats, saves me buying PanO remotes for a chassis I already have) and the Nomad Vertigo (same reason) for the Clipper.

But that 21pts could get me a Peacemaker...

I'll definitely give one a run in Frontline.

The Kameel has baggage as a base stat so all versions have baggage, did you mean minesweeper?

That is the only version I don't think I would take since it has no weapons.

I would suggest rethinking that. Nothing wrong at all with 8pts for a regular order. Once you've exhausted your AVA of fugazis, Druze struggle for cheap cheerleaders, which is a role the kameel minesweeper slots into handily.

I would consider the Beyond Ice Storm ABH as a starting point for Arslan. He just needs weapon swaps.

Do you think we will get Brawlers?

I'm not concerned about it one way or the other. One of the things I love about the Brawlers is the flavor they add by using models from other factions. To me they are the most characterful parts of my DBS.

    I'm using:
    Hafza spitfire converted to HRL
    Hafza crossarms for Doc
Hafza kneeling with the Dozer toolbox for Engi
Odalisque with Elfgirl Morlock head for the SMG Assault Hacker
Kasum Beg as a Standard Brawler/Lt profile (I may convert this to have a shotgun where the sword is)
Margot from Mirage 5 as the Harris Profile
luna from A! as the Sniper

    Here we go.

Hafza with minor helmet/head conversions for Brawlers and Saito Togan converted from his current sculpt with the Tiger Soldier BSG legs and some greenstuff to really Cyber-Ninja him up.

You really think you'd use the Brawler Hacker profile? Or is it more of a "completionist" conversion?

It's one of my favorite profiles, and the cheapest AHD in the game, why wouldn't you take one? Super easy to get a SSL2 assault hacker in an army with crazy good repeater coverage, no stealth HI or TAGs sneaking by, it's amazing.

I don't think I've got too much to add here.

I have decided to represent Arslan with the Haqqislam Starter Zhāyēdān, until an official model is released. I'm going to pick up the Outrage pack for the Saito proxy, and Jethro as the obvious Druze MSR.

I've got Knauf incoming, who will be my Le Muet proxy, as I'm really not a fan of the Artichoke Headed merc.

After some slight converting, this guy will be Arslan.
