Has anyone tried him out yet? Thoughts on ways to use him. I like the idea of having a non ODD Holo troop as I wouldn't feel like I was wasting by dropping down to H1 for a single unit disguise. Like say a Proxy unit to make it look like there are 3 on the board or 1 when you have none, leaving them anticipating the Mk2 .

Yup, but in my game he ended up being mere cheerleader (mostly my fault though).

I've been planning to play this as soon as I can stop myself always playing Asura HD+:

I was actually playing around with something kind of like that too. Not so hard into the Camo, but using him to hide Garuda's and Dasyu.

Oh, the main idea behind this list isn't using him to hide things, it's just marker-state-for-all giggles XD

Last game I used him, I told my opponent he sees 4 Asuras :D

My favorite thing to do with Sforza is deploy him holo1 as a proxy (mk 4 usually) plus the two other proxies on the table to hide your Hidden deployed proxy mk 2.

If you spend an order on him the jig is up, but he is not begging to be used T1 really.

Alternatively deploy holo1 as any old proxy, making them assume you have a TO sniper somewhere when you didn’t actually bring proxies at all.

Added benefit of getting the free projections on your opponent's turn when the time is right.

Wouldn't the jig be up as soon as you generate an Irregular Order into your pool?

Obvious Lt is obvious, unless you have 4 of them. I used him to hide my Shukra Strategos L1 by having an extra 3 within 8 inches of each other, one was even on top of a building, and my enemy wasted a shot on him.

The question being - why would you ever not bring posthumans?

I've frequently done it for various reasons. They are useful, but far from necessary.

Sforza seems pretty good as a defensive guy and an offensive guy. Holoprojector and Viral or Adhesive AROs and Dogged means he poses a lingering threat to most attacking troops and with surprise shot he can hunt down a lot of solo enemy troops really well. BS 13 is no slouch either!

I just like using him because it's funny to tell my opponents "I have 4 Asura HD+ MULTI Rifle on table". :)

I was really tempted to do that in the last (400pts) round of the escalation tournament I ran in October. Would have given about 200 points of masked HD and AD...

I did it in 300 points tournament, just for giggles. Actually I had two lists; first courtesy lists had 4 Asura HD+ MULTI Rifles, second also had 4 those and then one more Spitfire-Harris Asuras. Giggle-giggle. :D
