Hi all, just the pics of my previously painted miniatures, and the link to my blog/painting catalogue.

Right on! What colours did you use to get the glow on the red visor?

    Is pretty simple.

Visor painted in plane white, then use Vallejo Red Fluor. Paint a bit the area surrounding the visor (it will make the glow effect). The extent of such light effect depends on personal taste.
Then mix Red Fluor and white and apply at the centre line of visor.
Could make another mix with more white and paint inside the previous highlighted area.
Then finish with a fine line of pure white at the very centre of the area.

Bottom line, you somehow illuminate the visor, highlighting the centre and contaminating surrounding area to reproduce a light effect.
