daboarder complaining in the Pano thread?

I think I've been more negative than daboarder. No one attacked me yet? I mean, we have a player literally named "make Pano great again". I think there a long list of players that come before daboarder of all players. *shrug Man, if you think daboarder is bad, avoid Eciu. lol

Ah well, Bad Daboarder. Shame. Shame.

Guys, stay on topic, please. If you have any qualms with the way people present their arguments, take it to PM or Take it to the mods.

While I am not satisfied with this update, I think contrary opinions are important, as they may force us to change our viewpoints. Claiming someone is chasing you and nagging you will only get this conversation dismissed as unimportant.

By the same token, discrediting people who disagree with your viewpoints just because they don't conform to what you see as a correct playstyle is also not constructive. @daboarder , your opinions are very welcome, but please be careful not to come across as pedantic when you present your argument.

This has... A lot of firepower, and MAF used to require all that firepower get concentrated.

Don't forget soggy has duo now. Morats haven't been this flexible in small lists before

Have to agree with Ders on this one. Most of the changes to Morats could have been copy/pasted from forum discussions and user wish-listing threads compiled over the last few years. CB has obviously been listening. Think of the ridiculous customization that just gaining Raktorak wildcard has given us? Daturazi links with specialists and heavy weapons. NCO in any link. Vanguard links with crazy hitting power. Sogarats that are not only usable but actually scary- AND he can tow along a specialist with NCO for a reasonable cost.

Not to mention the Raicho going from a very boring TAG to one of the most versatile and deadly.

Bit & KISS! were great, yeah. Soggy Haris was fun. But you've traded them in for something priceless: true list building freedom.

One Sogarat that is somewhat scary and expensive.

Instead of having a character that gave us a concise hacking boost(deployable repeaters, pitchers, and an ADHL) now we have a Morat coward who can hide in a Marker state that goes against the basic character of Morats. Woo.

The AP HMG Sogarat is still useful and gets work done.

And KHD does plenty of things other than enable Cybermask; if your Rodok is linked (which mine almost always are) you're not going to be using that program, anyway.

Well I'd say the new sogorat is amazing... It's twice as likely to wound a squalos than before and the squalos has half the chance it used to.

In fact it's better at that than the aphmg sogorat. Pretty damned good.

The new feuerbach is also better at shooting a linked light infantry hmg vs the aphmg as well. I take back the ten points I complained about. It's smashing most targets as well as typical pano bs15 stuff does. Except swissguard. Nothing is as good at that for the price as ol Swiss. But Swiss can't revive himself.

There was TECHNICALLY a price drop that cancelled out with the bioimmunity. That stupid skill is either the dumbest thing in the game or I'm not smart.

Purely a buff vs Viral, far as I can see.

I'm sorry but you're complaining that a Rodok KHD isn't "Morat" enough, while at the same time complaining that you lost a unit from the sectorial that wasn't even Morat at all. This kind of thinking boggles me.

I'm not thrilled with the Rodok KHD either (would have much preferred a Zerat, of course), but you're really picking out all the negativity you can get from this update.

It's got an extremely niche but very powerful interaction with No Wound Incapacitation but is otherwise one of the last things you hope to see on a profile, yes.

UNLESS you have an unreasonably high BTS value and the local meta is full of Shock Ammo.

Granted, that's not the Sogarat, but ech...

Bioimmunity makes some sense in combination with the Automed, though. Keeps you alive to use it next turn.

And overall, while I think the update feels a bit half-assed, I still think it is quite good and helps Morats a lot. Buffs on more profiles of the respective units would have been great. As well as changes to Zerats (KHD/minelayer). I totally understand were the bad feelings come from and they are somewhat justified. But still, I am happy.

I am glad that some people seem to slowly get over the initial disappointment and this place gets more positive. After all, we are here to enjoy a great game. Let's discuss how to enjoy what we have instead of dwelling in a gloomy place of self-pitty, disappointment and anger

Like others said, bioimmunity on the Sogarat makes it better against viral without raising its BTS. Only one save, and you can choose to take it against your ARM 6 rather than your BTS 3. As a 2W HI, Sogarats were already ignoring the straight-to-dead effects of shock and viral.

Do they? I thought this was FAQed. Shock sends NWI multiwound models straight to death after dropping the last wound, if I got this corrctly. Would it then not also work in multiwound models without NWI?

It was FAQ'd that Shock (but even then not Viral!) prevents them turning on NWI, leaving them unconscious.

But it was then FAQ'd back to "multiwound is fully immune to Shock".

What Bioimmunity brings to Sogarats is taking only one roll from Viral, and being able to use ARM6 for Viral hits instead of BTS3.

There is no sense now in Sogorat Ap Hmg... Sogorat Feurbauch Full Auto always. Run series of tests in dice calculator. Sogorat Feurbach Full Auto always is better... + has superb close range assult pistol weapon....pityyyyy...I though Sogorats would get wildcard...like Veteran Kazaks...

Aaand...even more...Full Auto Sogorat Feurbach is even better then raicho... :) Why to take Raich now? Because of mines an fast move? Get some oznats and pretas instead. Or take duo Sogorat Full Auto + Raktorak...cost like raicho but can do missions too:) For me, Raicho in vanila only ;(

I actually prefer the Raicho if I need to push forward for any reason. A BS14 heavy shotgun hurts like hell, and unlike the sog the Raicho can go into suppressive fire AND packs enough stuff to complete several classified objectives.

I'd love to be able to use both in a list, to be honest, but I'm not sure how that would work. Maybe with a Yaogat LT?
