I think @xagroth is correct (likely Oyama), though we also have the rumour that there's a new JSA unit coming that we don't know about. I'm currently using one of the Mushashi as Oyama (when I don't use them for Shikami duty), so the model'd have to offer something stupendous over the LE Mushashis for me to be interested.
About the challenge, the "b4ckd00r crisis". One part of me says "oh it's nice that they try to dynamize the game between the yearly events. The overall setting is trembling and is going towards another big event. And the event penalty is only temporary so it's only a forced holiday for a few minis (and only in ITS), it will challenge us to change a bit our habits" But on the other side, I only play the factions that will not be impacted by this, so probably I'm not representative.
On one hand, that. On the other, all the terribly dated sculpts of much more useable units, including "grass roots" of the faction.
Ok, CB. You got me. I already own two Shikami but I will definitely double-dip for a new sculpt. Take my money
Wow, sounds just as constructive as good old Kan)))) Considering fact that these characters ban is temporary and only for some ITS events, it`s just mildly interesting twist. I`m more in big reveal camp.)))
If you say his name three times he appears in your bathroom mirror to tell you about resculpted Wildcats.
Surprising. I was sure with the alternate head they would opt not to sculpt a second shikami. Hoping they are just re using the coat for Oyama. Doesn't the shoulder seem really close to the hip?
I assume is both the angle of the camera and the back. If they went for a pose akin to the "sword raised" Achilles V2, or the new Juana, with a tactical rock (or similar) on the left leg... (the left arm would be raised, maybe with a gun or just the closed fist. I hope for the fist, frankly, since that simplifies transport for those of us using foam trays).
Any chance that the new sniper shot of what looks to be a second Shikami sculpt is part of a new JSA starter set? Maybe they decided to put in a Shikami instead of the Oniwaban?
So far that's my favorite feature of the new forums. I'm wary about this new event. I dislike that CA and Tohaa get a free pass. I think if they end up in the bottom 2 they should still get some sort of repercussion. Seeing detail pics of that Irmandinho has got me excited. I'm hoping we might see a second one I that CA vs Ariadna starter set.
Why should aliens be concerned about the human politics? Why should they care if a counsel declare: this one isn't allowed in the fight? Tohaa just want to live and fight with everything they have Combined doesn't give a f**k. They want to destroy the humans I play mainly tohaa and we have only 2 characters. One is a HI and tohaa doesn't need her. She is OK but not nearly a must have. The other is a hacker, WHITE hacker for 32 or 33 points. She appears in nearly no tohaa list.
The b4ckd00r database is a list of suspected EC simpatizers/agents of any kind. In that regard, Tohaa can have "turned" agents (not spesitorized, but convinced the old fashioned way). CA... well, it would be quite idiotic, I agree. Anyway, if the Tohaa discover proof that one of their agents is a CA mole, I doubt they will place him/her on the field until they vet the character, so Tohaa should not get a free pass, unless the excuse was "no tohaa data whatsoever the humans have discovered", in which case no Tohaa name should be on any list (it's being mused that at least one of the first wave names is a Tohaa one...). From a mechanical standpoint, the backlash is simply that some factions will lose no matter what (Aleph, for example) and for some sectorials losing one character can be critical (thus the player finds himself limited when listbuilding) or irrelevant (in which case, why bother). If more challenges come, with the same consequences, you can be sure some factions will enter a non-return spiral of "revealed traitors", since people will stop playing if they think that faction is now handicapped.
