What is this madness? I'd never use the new Tik over the HMG Seraph. Like, OMG, I think the HMG Seraph is by FAR my favorite Pano TAG. ITS A SUPER JUMPING HMG TAG. O.O Its like a wet dream come true. Not to mention unlike the invincible army, MO has wonderful TO camo options and Auxbots to guard their DZ. MO is a much more flexible army able to do everything from mix LI + HI fireteams to Deathstar HI links.

Well, having Core noted on everything was better than randomly excluding only a few units from it. Well, I'm with you on the Santiago. Some aspects of their change are, disappointing. But all up I think MO exchanged raw power for flexibility and I think the total number of viable builds went up. Yeah, I know one guy in my meta who will be ITCHING to get that into action.

So AP HMG is +11 pts (check line Kazak), HMG is +8 pts (both on top of a combi rifle), so why is the new MO Tikbalang 7 pts more expensive than the old one? It exchanges it's AP mine for a AP to DA CCW upgrade, which is a bad trade, but points wise it's ok (see? the point system is wrong CB), the only other difference is the AP HMG over a HMG and Religious troop. So maybe Religious troop costs 4 pts on a TAG? Which would be bullshit.

It really really isn't. :-( A limited list of issues caused include: Asking if a Fireteam: Core full of wildcard troopers still needs someone with the (non-existent) Core Skill, Training players to think that Skill presence = Fireteam (aka Onyx players running three Samaritans in a Haris, Neoterra players running CSU Duos etc. etc.) instead of looking up the actual Fireteams for a unit, Having something that isn't a Skill listed as a Skill. Seriously, listing Core as a Skill is the source of a good 40% of all rules questions about Fireteams. :-(
Then it might be listed elsewhere. Under the unit, together with special fireteams notes. But keep it in the army in some way, browsing through Wiki/PDF/book shouldn't be necessary. In an attempt to reduce number of question you'll make it more difficult for players.
Yes, as I've said before, I agree. But at this time, that's not going to happen, and listing Core as a Skill causes more problems than it solves.
