Daoying is great. Mowang is good but very expensive. Haidao is ok, but BTS 0? Urgh. At BTS 0 I'd very much expect it to be a damn MI, but nope... At least it does have Shock Immunity. Hulang SMG profile is pretty cool. A Duo of them/Wildcards will probably be pretty cool. Shang Ji didn't get much, just a couple of profiles with the new skills attached, so no points reduction which makes it still too expensive. Zuyong got similar improvements, so Shang Ji is still dead in the water. Yan Huo FTO is cool, but they're so expensive in an expensive Sectorial that's it's functionally unviable. Zhencha and Liu Xing didn't have any 'secret' profiles. Zhencha SMG is fine, but other than that meh. Tai Sheng is nice. Overall First (Full) Impression: A strong 'meh.' Edit: We waited. We now see. Nothing particularly stellar, particularly considering the massively ramped up cost/vulnerability of all of these new MI!
Similar with me. But looking at the list again, I bet this army would be fun to play with. It could be 'Meh' level, but not 'Ugh' level. I'm swallowing it.
Such a weird mix of ups and downs. Daoying looks very interesting. Haidao offers an alternative CoC in vanilla to the Pheasant and Tai Sheng if you really want your CoC to be hard to budge. The way the Guijia is designed means its SKU could probably be recycled now that it had a chance of change. It's not really needed, tbh. It needed AD, NCO, Tactical Awareness or something. I do note that the Haidao's fireteam Wildcard got changed (or we didn't get sufficient information).
Hulangs are awesome though! Specialists who start upfield, are great gunfighters in CQB, awesome at CC, mobile, aggressive and tough. They're great midfield predators!
Honestly, it's just a lot of very similar units. Mowang, Daoying and Hulang are the most distinct, with Zuyong bringing their Fireteam: Core option for other units to jump in to.
Yeah, I like the Hulang. FD2, Mono CCW, CC22/MA3 and Mimetism, plus they can have someone tag along in their Duo (probably have to be a very wide Duo, but still!)
One thing surprised me is more versatile Zuyong it used to be. HMG Tactical Awareness is something I can laugh at. Yeah, solid.
I like this sectorial. Not OP, not full of mind-blowing "must have" options, but really solid. I like all the options to get extra orders "off the board" (Tactical Awareness and LT2+NCO). My only shame is the number of 1W+NWI HI's. They all should have at least Bioimmunity like Lu Xing. Overall, I feel a little sad that I sold my small IA force few months ago...
Considering how much they wanted to hype IA, the Sectorial is pretty meh, yes. Specially them completely ignoring the Shang Ji. All in all, nothing that makes me want to play it. Luckily I got the MO box last Friday so at least I can play cool TAGs, Dart, and FD Holo His with actual HI stats.
Of note: BOTH Haris are Tactical Awareness AND Tinbot B I'll just put this one out there immediately: it's a budget Shikami. Or more accurately: It's going to be compared to the Shikami and people don't like the Shikami. We'll see if the worsened stats and movement will be made up for by the increased offensive capability and FD2. I missed that, thanks. Bit of a shame, but Tai Sheng is less than 10 points more expensive than the Pheasant.
Really, people, it's like you are trying to get dissapointed on purpose. Hulangs are amazing, Yan Huo FTO options are great, Mowang is great, Zuyong Character is kinda expensive but still gets BS 14, Zhencha was already great, Hai Dao is an amazing toolbox and our best sniper now, Daoyings are amazing, FTO Pangguling is sweet, Son Bae got regular ML profile, Zuyongs have tactical awareness/N2 options... Get your heads out of your asses, seriously.
At first glance it looks quite good to me. Let`s see how it performs on an actual table. Also, now we have all the time in the world to complain that PanO got some better shit than we did :-P.
As someone that was really hyped for invincible my oppinion was also meh. I think vanilla Yujing will greatly benefit of the new profiles though.
