I'm honestly only planning on a max of 2x Shang Ji, and they might not both be in the same link team. We're probably talking about taking heavily mixed links, possibly only one of any given unit per link (or one standard Zuyong and the character NCO, tops).
I'm hoping the IA starter is like 2 Zuyong with Combi Rifles one holding Double Breaker Pistol or Breaker Pistol with Combi. Shang Ji with HRL or Spitfire, Mowang, Liu Xing, and Haidao. Blisters will be for Hulang, and Zhencha.
I agree that would make sense, but I'm having a hard time seeing where the Yan Huo MHMG model will fit.
Well, if we somehow don't end up having the Starter Box double as a Zuyong SWC box... I'd drop bets that the Yan Huo MHMG would be in the Zuyong SWC box, kinda like how the Kempeitai is in the Keisotsu box and the Grenzer is in the Securitate box.
Maksimas seems to be on the right track. I'd like if it was handle liked that. Makes the most sense given recent CB decisions.
I mean, it feels logical that the SWC box would be three Zuyong and some other Invincible, either a Yan Huo or a Shang Ji, if not having the Yan Huo in the starter in the first place. Fact of the matter is, about half of the units in the starter will be of units we already have profiles for in Army ATM, as we are getting 7 new units with IA, so I'd say 2-3 of them might be in the starter, the rest will prolly be either in mono-model blisters OR double-model boxes ( Like a BSG and SMG Zhencha Box or a Liu Xing BSG + Spitfire. ).
Personally I'd prefer to have Zencha in the starter box and Liu Xing as a blister release. That way I could skip it and just use one of my 3 Tiger solider as a proxy ;)
Considering they're HI - adding in a Yan Huo would likely drop them to a 3 model box, ala Tanko and Suryats, rather than a 4 model box.
Well, how many SWC options would we need in that box? We already have an HMG sold separately ( Maybe repacked into the SWC box? ), and the only other SWC weapon is the ML, so even a 2 Zuyong 1 Yan Huo box is feasible?
Paramedics/Doctors often end up sculpted. I hope they don't waste a sculpt for that because I really doubt it's gonna be a common pick for the link but it's possible.
Well, when most of your force ends up PH12+, MediKits aren't too bad I suppose. I'd suspect those sculpts to worm their way into the Starter box itself.
I'm guessing that the interesting one is going to be Shang Ji. If I was really obnoxious, I'd suggest CB make a 2-model blister with Spitfire and Combi+LFT w tinbot (the TacSense profiles). But I'd rather have a 3+ model box to get the HRL and maybe Multirifle (if the multi is still a thing for Shang Ji) as well. Spendy, but all new sculpts like the Domaru or Tanko were and we are trying to limit new SKUs.
tbh I can't think of a starter box off the top of my head that has a paramedic sculpt in it. Like the Dakini and Hospitaler boxes they tend to end up in the SWC box or in the stand alone support boxes like the Zhanshi support.
In other words the same garbage that GW does. "Nono, it's higher ttech even if it's objectively worse in ever imaginable way in-game". So the retort to that is why other factions are allowed an AVA higher than a two-finger salute of it's that expensive to them.
