My wife, the master modeler in the family, is assembling Gata's new skin. As a woman she immediately noticed that Gata's breasts are partially exposed. Wiki tells me that Flibusteira were Portuguese privateers = pirates but a tweet by Belén Moreno suggested that Flibusteira is also a pun in Spanish. Could someone bilingual (like @treiral) educate me so I can appreciate the pun if it exists. By the way the fine detail on the model is superb! There is even cast detail on the hilt of her sword and the blade itself. The half kitty mask on her forehead is amazing. I have never seen my wife's eyes light up with so much relish to paint a model.
Quick and concise: In Spanish a "filibustero" was a pirate who acted in the Caribbean Sea (more or less)
This model is my favourite of the metals so far, partly because how unashamedly anime/piratey it is. It feels like it belongs in a Shantae game.
