@maru I see. I must say I love it after yesterday, it is considerably faster than normal NMM and I like the look. Expect it to be on all of my weapons for IA and some miniatures as well :D
Your stuff is AMAZZZZZZZZZZING! Some great tips I’ve found in your thread that motivated me trying out some things: if it doesn’t work - do it again (especially eyes) use magnifying glasses with a factor of 3.5x to do it (or use a lamp with a 3.5x magnifier) usa of a mixture of blending..glazing and wetblending...something in the middle NMM style of painting It would be really, really great to hear a little bit more of your blending technique. What size of brushes you use? What color - is this oil paint?
@unclesrouce Thanks Man. I think that blending is a very personal choice of a painter and after spending many years refining the techniques everyone will arrive at a certain favorite mix. Its hard to describe this in text because blending for me is a "feeling" - I can feel consistency of colors and the brush. Even in person I would not be able to teach others how I do it, they can watch but will not feel it. For Infinity I always use my trust winsor and newton series 7 size1 brush and depending on miniature Vallejo Model color or Scale 75 paints (IA is scale 75, ISS and Tunguska are VMC). I finished the second YanHuo and am very happy how he turned out for my little experiment.
If I may :p I think your red stripes (arm and shoulders) could look better without the black lining before the white, the line kinda break the volume and simulate engravings The white NMM is great, you've added some blue on the shadows ? add shadows on white is a nightmare for me because you can mess up everything real quick ^^ Anyway fantastic painting very inspiring !
Thanks for your Feedback Sangarn. I tested without the black stripe but I really did not like it already on the blue yanHuo. Now this needs to be consistent no matter what primary armor color I choose. The white is airbrushed on (a lightgrey tone) and then I build up highlights and shadows at the same time.
I painted some terrain and also a Zuyong HMG in a red color scheme that is really hard to do. Not painting more red anytime soon :D
Ye, white one looks cooler, though both are fabulous. But ironman with hmg even better. And what is wrong with red color?
Sweet mother of god, I thought I loved the Zuyong design before! Even my inner Legend of the Five Rings player is looking at that going "Bayushi Heavy Infantry." Fantastic work!
Thanks guys! For relaxation i painted a yellow mini, yellow is much easier to do for me than red. this color scheme is just amazing on the tabletop...so bright and easy to see. you will never forget a mini on the table with that colors ;)

As always gorgeous models. So what's your plan for IA. Are you going to somehow unify the army look or each unit will have different colours? Will we see Terminus Assault armoured units? Because of that orange and blue on the hacker, I can't shake the feeling the guy is having a denim uniform under that armour :)
If I didn't already wanna do the classic scheme for my Yu Jing, this reminds me so much of RA and RA2. Might do my ISS as the old studio scheme and have my IA like this. Love it.

Next treat for you is the Hac Tao Hacker, in a new NMM recipe (purple is the shadow color). @Usashi I have similar bases, also the red freehand marking are on all of them. In addition uniform weapon color and I try to put the gold on all the armor mesh of the HI. but the rest of the minis will be unique. I got bored to death while painting my tunguska and want to experiment to increase my skills so they will be a colorfoul troupe like harlequins.
