Exactly. Also, Machinists are AVA2 and Peacemaker is only AVA1. But I think that the Peacemaker will have little use in the VIRD.
So thanks to the wildcard rule, this is a valid Fusilier fireteam: 3x Kamau 2x Orc :P I am assuming, just like with the shock army, the linkable VIRD machnist will have Mimetism just like their Kamau pals. I think thats going to be a pretty popular link.
Why? I think it might complement Croc Men and Zulus pretty well, not unlike it does (or did, when Montesa were part of the equation) in ASA.
Peacemaker as obvious roadblock with TO camo surprise is crazy good. That's probably a big reason why we only get one peacemaker. Getting two separate TO popups in 2 separate attempts to move would be really really hard to deal with I think.
Honestly, thanks to the limits of mechanized deployment, one peacemaker is often optimal. So its not a big deal. Even with Bulleteers I tend to just take one.
A staff member talked of an army update tomorrow in the “Bugs” thread. So probably tomorrow. Just wondering when
It's the 26th here in New Zealand, I'm expecting my book in the mail today and Army could update any time. I'm practically vibrating with the roll of that drum in my head awaiting everything that is coming.
I got my copy of 3rd offensive on Friday and having been reading the PanO stuff, it's got me waiting even more eagerly than before for the updates
My delivery showed up in one of the only two 20 minute periods my wife was going to be out of the house today. I swear to god, if I have to wait for another whole day to get the book in my hands due to delivery fuckups (and can't pick it up this afternoon) there'll be hell to pay.
I'm honestly not expecting the update before late in the day (Spain time, GMT+1) on the 26th. I'm talking like 8pm local, so about noon my time.
My FLGS said the release is on 29th for the book... I wonder if I should drive down there today anyway.
They usually do updates late noon so like 13-14 Spanish time; 20 is kinda late-ish to be working here in Spain.
