Is this legal? If I use the LT order on the link, won't the link break?

 

HMG Yadu comes with the brand new "NCO" rule, that allows the trooper to expend the Lt. Order on itself, even if the Yadu belongs to a Fireteam.

 

Not if the NCO Yadu spends it though! NCO will not break links, which means that it'll be an expensive but quite potent little force, a real toolbox. Only thing I wish I could get in there would be some sort of shotgun, but oh well, BS 13-14 shooters with Heavy Pistols and MSV3 MULTI Rifles will have to do :p

I would like to point out the semantic that NCO lets you spend Lt orders on yourself as though it were a regular order, so you can even put three yadus in a link and asura elsewhere, but you cant pretend the yadu is your Lt.

 

NCO is also open information, making it obvious the Yadu can't be your Lt from deployment

I also find Shakti a nice versatile and tough profile, but in a fireteam I usually use her to fulfill and backup the functions of other Pieces. I prefer to run the Rudra solo and maybe fill in The Samekh because is cheaper in points and has a Weapon that reaches where no other Deva or Yadu reach efficiently, would be mainly for defensive reasons.
