Well that's interesting. Are they people or more recreations?

I'm gonna laugh if they still have heavyweight left over from the Daiyokai.

And there isn't [multiple published examples of yu jing doing irrational cartoon villian shit] that don't require a certain level of interpretation and/or extrapolation.

Bad shit yes. But there's context which is getting conveniently ignored to push an extreme (imo) opinion.

They are people, Knife Hawk being their code name. Strategy Officer-In-Command, graduates from Hawks' Nest Military Academy.

    Solid LT fluff.

It implies they're people I'm pretty sure.

    Heavyweight, yet also sneaky somehow.

And also, the bearded villian image gets some explain. Yu Jing got some by their own hands, but the media fabrication of PanO deluded Yu Jing as collective distopia.

For example, Yu Jing middle-class citizens might miss an edge about social luxuries like PanO middle class, but the actual portion of 'well-living' citizens compared to its population, outmatches PanO.

Which means it got some more equaility on people's living.

Okay okay, besides the seriously comedic comic naming of the academy, but are they light-weight HI or not? Or if you don't want to answer that, but does the book mention armour design and whether and how the light-weight HI are distinct from the regular HI?

The Invincibles fluff is shown as true menacing, the best force Yu Jing could handle; it is considered over Yu Jing Naval forces, Artillery forces, because they are no match at real all-out war.

Even PanOceanian lecturer warn them, if Yu Jing truly want to wage war against PanO, their top-notch War Machines are unable to ensure Victory.

Simple is that; When Invincibles land, you'rr toasted.

And that is where Zhenchas and Hac Tao units harrass the enemy.

I got one fluff; Zhencha's lightweight armor is called Viper Class armor, originated from hard experiences of Daofei regiment.

It gained superior mobility, and a budget cut, at the cost of resilience and durability.

And we aren't even portrayed as immense jerks I hear! ...as much as PanO would like to claim otherwise on some nonsensical conspiracy theory about devil royalty ransacking some outpost.

    YOU SEE NOTHING, CITIZEN!

In all seriousness, we have stranger things in the setting. The Cutter is probably considered a myth by most Yu Jing line troops who've been fed propaganda about PanO being rubbish at everything. Typical PanO, trying to show off their "technological superiority" with a robot nobody can prove actually exists!

lol, sounds like Gutier's having trouble keeping his fluff straight again because in Uprising a force of Keisotsu fought to the death in Tomari and inflict high casualties on the 2nd division Invincibles.

BS10 Keisotsu busy taking chunks outta Invincible divisions, pretty sure those Fusiliers got nothing to worry about.

With a sufficiently biased journalist, "high casualties" can be counted on one hand. From what I've heard, Uprising is best treated as Kuge propaganda if you want to keep liking the setting anyway.

    The book was crap.

Red Banner army's elite Hong Qi Division Invincibles suffered the same amount of casualties that YJ high command predicted they would suffer over the entire campaign in the first week to a single force they both heavily outnumbered and outgunned.

Don't get me wrong I know it's a shit book. I'm just poking fun at Gutier's writing. Apparently I was supposed to "learn some new words" as he himself put it when his plot holes were pointed out.

    Seriously though.
They are portrayed as night assault specialists that go in, beat everything in to all hell and disappear as soon as they arrived.

And as such, they are called Devil Kings.

Mowang troops are illustrated as survival masters, Spearhead of Invincibles, because Yu Jing loves power armor. They gave them to jungle fighters, what happens when Jungle guerrillas meet a bigboi with light foot. Mowangs earned their names.

Yeah, they run silent with that fatass armor. Hello there Red Veil Al-Fasid.

I mean, when you think about it...
The JSA TAG can also run about quetly...

Also, Hulongs are apparecntly CQC specialists dressed in light servo-powered armor. And are very aggressive.

We talking CQC like shotguns and SMGs, or CQC like actual melee?
